THE BASS ON THIS TRACK DOESN'T PLAY ANY OF THE DEAD NOTES! I do it here because it's fun.
This song is great for beginners to work out their pinky. I don't do it for better recording quality here but I do it in practice.
Also I record the audio and video for these covers separately so there is a mistake in the video, try and find it!
Lastly you can think of this song as 4/4 with a swing feel, but I prefer 12/8.

Throw the pick away. Your better than that trust me.
Just because you watch davie504 doesn't mean you're allowed to coach people on what techniques they can and cannot use. Pick is a completely valid technique to use on bass, it creates tones impossible to create with other techniques. That's the whole reason we have more than one technique. Now go slap the youtube button on the top right and leave this man to play his bass using whichever techniques he wants.
