I am showing a proof of concept for installing a Nayax VPOS touch card reader on an old Dixie Narco Single Price Vending Machine.
Everything online says this cannot be done. There are pros and cons to this, including the fact that the machine isn’t truly talking back and forth to the card reader, so if someone pays, and their selection is sold out, they already paid. To us that’s no big deal as we give refunds if this ever happens and we will keep the machine stocked.
We had this machine at a perfect location for a card reader and it just wasn’t a good time to upgrade to a newer machine logistically. This is our temporary solution.
