Excellent demo... thanks so much. My problem is I can never get that much blood... any tips how to get more?
yes. this is quite old model. it was developed a few years ago. Now new glucometer might only need 1ul or less. by the way. if you like to have more blood (not suggested). Try to do a short massage on your fingers before punching. Or you can get blood from wrist or palm. To be noted please follow your doctor for medical advices.
@@redsunmedizonelimitedhongk1974 Thanks for the heads up... appreciate it.
Good evening Sir tanong lang sana ako kapag walang koryente pwedi po ba power inverter ang gagamitin sa saka battery car ilan po ba ang Voltahi sa model 7E-A na Suction machine hintayin ko ang sagot mo Sir salamat
Very useful video in the main...Thanks! but not sure if the video's in sync regarding the correct amount of blood to use on the strip. Can you provide a picture of the correct amount of blood to use please! Many Thanks!
Unreliable. Do not waste your money. Health risk, should not be approved or certified.
We just bought this. Seems close to what the actual blood test read at the doctors. We did two tests at the same time, the difference was 32mg. Hardest part is getting the right amount of blood onto the strip and apparently it will affect the result (it does on other devices so would have to be the same). On other devices it says not to touch the skin with the strip which makes it hard to get the blood onto it since you have to get the sample onto the strip as soon as you can.
not reliable showing different results..

The Cholesterol meter is* can be accurate +/- 10 to 20% approx., especially if you take at least 2 serial measurements and average these results, it seems to match "average" results better than a single measure. The Glucose measurement is more consistent, and also corresponds to previous glucometer brands I have had, within 5% of my Verio One Touch.
I bought one but instead of labelled as zealson like in this video, the machine was just called speedguc. My cholesterol fluctuates from 4.5mmol to 8.0mmol in a matter of weeks lol. In serial measurements, it can read 8mmol and then drop to 6.5mmol and then 5.3mmol. Doesn't feel accurate tbh
@@edsel6988 Yeah that sounds like huge amount of fluctuation lol. Cholesterol can fluctuate 10-15% between days, and between seasons, the literature in N Europe shows 25% higher values in winter than summer in some areas (Denmark study 2019), and even serial measurement within a single day depending on dietary fat intakes, standing posture, and other metabolic states, exercise, hormonal cycles, adrenaline, cortisol, stressors, etc (A group called Quantified Self did an experiment showing how a 1 mmol/L change up or down happens frequently in a single day for healthy people, in a postprandial and circadian rhythm) but a doubling from 4 to 8 ! sounds suspicious, I am with you on that! I found the Speed Guc has an average change value of 35% between single measurement, for me, which means if I am a 4.5 mmol on first measurement, I could be 6 or 6.5 on second measurement! Which sounds awful, but I actually repeated this with 4 Speed GUC strips, on a 12 hr fast and found that kind of variance, in a single morning! That shows me that there is huge analytical (probably blood sample size ) variation, in addition to biological variance. But when I take the mean of the 4 results (say, 5.5 that morning), it does approximate my previous labs of the past. (5 mmol has been my 15 yr average between clinical laboratory, and home test kits) And when I cut out processed foods, and lowered fats the following week, averaging another 4 test strips spread over different days (dietary fat started at 35-40%, and dropped to 25-30%), my mean fasted cholesterol was about 4.5, (4.2, 3.75, 5.1, 5.6, respectively), which probably did reflect some actual change in my diet. But, At best I think this device gives ballpark figures, with a plus or minus of 15-20% between the statistical mean or median result one averages out. Since the RCV for Total Cholesterol even in a qualified Laboratory is indeed 15-20% (and even higher for HDL, LDL, and Trigs), this device might give semi accurate results, when averaged out, but I would def. compare the results to known laboratory averages as a bench mark to verify or refute its accuracy....Because I have only 2 test strips left, I have charted my dietary fat % on the days I measured my cholesterol, in a Spreadsheet file and I now use a simple formula that works for myself :Dietary fat % divided by 6 = approx mmol of fasting Chol. I have more elaborate correlation formulas using blood pressure, body fat, BMI, and dietary fat %, tailored to myself to predict when I am likely above my 5 mmol/l~200 mg/dl goal, when I am lacking test strips.
@@edsel6988 but, for sake of argument, if it is true that the average of total results equals approx. real value (closest likely to average laboratory blood draw) as it seemed to be for me anyways, then taking 4.5, 8.0, 6.5, and 5.3 mmol/l, we get a range of 4.5 to 8, and a mean of 6.075 and median of 5.9 - that would make your average Cholesterol around a 6 mmol/L. So if that compares with your Lab numbers, within that 15%, RCV range, then we might call it somewhat accurate.
@@sargon6948 wow, that is some comprehensive tracking on your part! I'll be going for a blood test in about a few days time. Probably be receiving the results in a week. I've been trying to lower my cholesterol. Weirdly enough, my cholesterol readings were ranging from 4.5-5.8 for about 7 readings or so, then suddenly went to ranging in the 6-8 for the next 7 readings. Even though i haven't had a significant change in diet, except for a few cheat days or something. But i don't think a few days of 'cheat' will undo the efforts of 2 months of good diet (i hope not at least). Guess i'lll see in a weeks time.
@@edsel6988 Cool, thanks for sharing. yeah it'd def be interesting to see what your avg Speed GUC numbers compare to a legit laboratory number, taken during the same day or week. I like the fact that this little machine is cheap and simple (below 60 $ for the device, 10chol, 25uric and50 glucose strips I got on Amazon), but I suspect the cheap price may come at a cost of cheap results(!), which for vascular health ain't so great! But yeah def. be interested to see how accurate it is. I will update my review of this product also when I get more feedback from other folks, I suspect the accuracy could be all over the place, depending on different factors. It seemed to mesh well for me, but that could be pure coincidence as well. Cheerz.

I am have exactly the same unit and was not used for more than 3 years now. I have tried to check if it still works but it looks like there's a problem. When it's plugged the power light turns on but when I turn on the suction button (green button) it does not do anything. Can you suggest any solution do this? Thank you. A friend of mine badly needs it.
