St. Patrick’s Day Ron Star
Here’s some new tips for this design. There’s something about the Ron star that really fits with St. Patrick’s. I guess it kinda looks like a clover.

Ringed “Wig Wag”

A friend of mine requested a wig wag with grey and blue. He’s a pretty easy going guy so I figured I’d try and experiment with adding a gradient ring.

Thanks for sharing looks great and inspiring
Great instruction. It’s so helpful to hear the “why” behind various decisions you make throughout the process. Thank you so much!
Is there a difference for the mandala tie?
I like the soft pastel effect of this technique & colors.
Nice, thanks 😎🇳🇿
I like that neck/shoulder treatment in the folding. Always struggle with that, not that it's a problem, just looking for more definition!☮️♥️🌈
I can’t stand to watch this because every time he says “acrossed” I cringe. It’s ACROSS there is no “ed” in the end.
That is beautiful! Thank you for sharing. I have just subscribed.
I’m so curious what the back looks like?
I love it!!!
Dragon egg and ? I didn't catch color 1.
Thank you!! I am so happy you took the time on your videos. Your first upload and this one is everything I've been searching for. All the videos I have watched, listened to, and stored in a playlist over the years are nice, but you, my friend, are taking people's game to a whole other level. I certainly appreciate you! ~Love One 💫💞💫
Claro que está muy buena!😉gracias por el video❤
That shirt is great just as it is! Spectacular
I like
Beautiful ❤️ I am going to do this!
Love that shirt!
Super 🎉
Really pretty. Curious to know, was your first rinse off hot or cold water (before popping it into the washer) 😊 thanks
Interesting piece of art, I’ve yet to do an ice method dye. What did you use to set your shirt into? Resemblance of a rain gutter?🙏🏼
Love the colors and effect with this technique.Awesome!
Can I do this with bedsheet?
So where/how do you place dye? Horizontally across the folds, folds on top?
Thank you for a great tutorial. Awesome shirt.
Beautiful !!!!!
Very cool !!!!!!!!!!
Dope
Thank you..that helps me so much❤
Nice shirt. I LIKE the whte space/negative space on t he T.
Thanks!
GORGEOUS! I love it!
Thanks :)
Halo sir... How you mix you colour... With normal water or hot water? Wet or thick you colour?
I use room temperature water to mix my dyes. I don’t usually thicken my dyes (especially for shirts like these) but I have done that with black dye for a final outer coat on scrunched areas.
Great video, ty ty! What happens if you go at an angle across the pleats instead of straight?
Try it
While I will always agree with the “try it” attitude, I will say that it will give a more oval effect. It definitely could be a cool thing to do, but normally you would want to avoid that in mandalas to give it that more uniform look.
@@SledgehammerTieDyes Gotcha, makes sense. Thanks!
Wow! Thank you so much for sharing!! Great detail 👏👏👏😄👍👍
Thanks for watching!
Love them both. Very cool.
Thanks for checking it out!
Interesting method! Have you alreadt used the jar of everything?
I have. I first tested it out on a colander dye so I knew how it acted before I made this one.
have you ever weighed how much dye powder you use? Thanks for showing the process! Your color combinations are really unique and interesting. Very inspiring!
Thanks! No I haven’t weighed how much I use. It’s more of a visual thing. I just make sure there’s a decent coverage. I use more for dyes that don’t break for better coverage and a bit less for ones that do break to allow those breaks to manifest.
Thank you! Great design and well explained
Thanks! Im glad you like it!
Thank you so so so much!!! Trying to make a tie dye for my dad’s birthday at the dead and company sphere and I’ve wanted to do this pattern but there’s barely any tutorials!!
That’s gonna be an awesome show! Good luck with the shirt. I’m sure your dad will love it!!
Excellent teacher! One of the best. Thank you for sharing.
It's Beautiful
I like it!
thanks for the video.
Dude, love it, gotta try it! Thanks for sharing! Love ya, love your show!
Interesting experiment. Nice reminder on using liquid dyes. Thank you.
Thanks for checking it out!
What brand of dye do you use? This technique turns out so cool!! Thank you for the tutorial!
The majority of my dyes come from Dharma Trading Co, but I also have dyes from Dyespin and Happy Cat Tie Dye.
Thank you!
Cool shirt!
bob ross w the mistake, happy.
I think it's really beautiful and unique!
Love this shirt!!
Your video and instructions were so easy to follow! I watch people use white sinew on white shirt and I cannot differentiate between the two (maybe poor lighting?). Even though you used white kite string on a white shirt it was still easy to see which was which. Your lighting was spot on. Thank you for making this easier to follow!
