nice video...i am from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
We live in very evil times & the amount of evil that has revealed itself these recent few years is horrible.
@@PerceptionVsReality333 absolutely. I am shocked with the state of things at the moment!
@ExploreYourShadow BTW I agree with you about religion, I mostly can't stand Abrahamic faiths because of the conflicts that have been provoked for centuries because of those three religious beliefs & still are to this day, look at what's happening in Gaza. But I'll drop the subject because my comments automatically deleted when I mention that conflict.
@PerceptionVsReality333 100% agree. They're all religions that induce violence, but we seem to be forgetting that. The move to something more like Buddhism would be a balm to humanity, but those religions don't benefit politicians that thrive from conflict

I actually just came across this movie and watched it last night. Really ended up enjoying it! If anyone knows any other movies similar to this, I’d highly appreciate it 😅
I feel like growing up in the age of information, there is a lot to learn about relationships, boundaries, social norms, human behaviour etc. and the complexity of the world around us as technology and culture has advanced so much it’s all so hard to keep up with. People would rather be on a device with the feeling of connection rather than going out and doing it. It’s easily accessible to us. Anxiety, depression, mental health has spiked due to COVID pandemic. There’s a lot going on in the world and for me, love is not a first priority, I prioritise myself and my morals and values over any relationship. Even though I know I can have those things in a relationship, I choose myself first.
Pandemic made everything much more complicated and it seems dating became even more awkward than it was
I don’t think you can generalize a whole generation like that. Someone could make a very strong argument boomers/gen z and some millennials have a much less understanding of sexuality than gen z
@@glen20ca1 it's an excerpt from a podcast, I was saying that from my personal experience I have seen a lot of this happening, as a teacher and a therapist. Of course it's not the entire generation, but it's a lot of them
@ i think there is argument that a greater proportion of Gen Z know more about sexuality and gender than a proportion of their predecessors.
@@glen20ca1 yeah they know the general info behind it but don't know what to with it

@@ExploreYourShadow your very welcome
No, it was created for that
Not really, most of the women didn't have that in mind, but as with everything else in the world, things usually go south when things go to extremes
@ExploreYourShadow feminism was not created by women, was created by men

Firstly, your guest is very engaged in what you're saying. I found that lovely to watch. Secondly, I can only speak for myself. For me, yes, a powerful, selfish, protective, brooding man is very enticing during intimate moments...but under certain circumstances... The communication outside of the bedroom has to be healthy and functional. My partner has to be able to come to me genuinely as himself, meaning its okay if he has insecurities or doesn't want to be super dominant (it is never expected). Esther Perel said it very well once: "And at the heart of sustaining desire in a committed relationship, I think, is the reconciliation of two fundamental human needs. On the one hand, our need for security, for predictability, for safety, for dependability, for reliability, for permanence. All these anchoring, grounding experiences of our lives that we call home. But we also have an equally strong need (men and women) for adventure, for novelty, for mystery, for risk, for danger, for the unknown, for the unexpected, surprise -- you get the gist. For journey, for travel."
@@Equivocal-squiggle thanks so much for the comment! I deeply respect Esther Perel and she is quite right! The short is actually from a full podcast where we talked about femininity and masculinity and how both can turn toxic but also can be very healing to each other healed. My guest was just mentioning that a lot of times men are taught to be in the feminine flow and I just noticed that very often this can be something that is very unappealing to women because it's lacking proper action oriented support that is women need to feel safe
It's tough for the good guys out there because, honestly, sometimes the nice guy vibe just doesn't cut it for some women
It's because there are almost double standards. Women claim that they want the good guy and then they don't want to date them. You should check out the podcast, there is a lot said on the subject.
Thanks 🙏

Was liebst du am meisten auf den Augen zu haben. Ich liebe Tücher oder Schlafmaske und dann Tuch darüber
I got the impression that Cynthia was never particularly into kink at all and always did it out of love for Evelyn, while Evelyn just wanted a Domme who did exactly what she wanted and didn't really care who it was
Yeah it's a bit weird to be honest, I'd prefer a deeper dynamics
❤
I don't understand why people love this movie its so fucked up and werid. So cringe
Yeah, it definitely isn't for everyone. And definitely weird 😂
I keep going back to the very person who keeps hurting me the most. Ive been away now for a week and i feel better being away from him, but its those damn ruminating thoughts that burden me. The illusion of how things once were and wanting it back, but knowing it will never be what it was. It was never real anyways, this is who he truly is, an abuser. Coming to terms with that is the hardest for me to accept, but im getting there.
We all long for love and think that if we just love someone strong enough that this will change them. Unfortunately, with abusers and narcissist, it's usually the opposite. Hope you find someone worthy of your love ♥️

I watched this movie twice. I found it to be very erotic. I’m not personally into BDSM, but I really enjoyed the intimacy and trust the two ladies had together. ❤
Yeah feels very bonding. They could have went deeper into the story and personal background, it would be even better that way
Its fimed in Hungary , not england
Oh really? IMDB said UK, but I did get a different feel to it
It would be a fantasy if the Men were actually hot but they're not. It's hard to believe a Woman wrote the story because it has a very male gaze --well, at least the film does. I haven't read the book. As a Woman I can't relate to having these fantasies of submission with ugly dude, after ugly dude, after ugly dude. I'd submit if the guy looked like Brandon Lee circa 1993 😍 but I wouldn't submit to an ugly, old, fuck with a shriveled dick.
I often revisit this superb presentation. I never tire of your observation, delivery and honest expression at 7:13; it is sublime and supremely insightful. ❤️😈🤗
Thank you so much for your kind words 🙂
@@ExploreYourShadow On the contrary - thank YOU for your sensitive and disarming comment. You have no idea how powerfully affecting I find it, as your other informative, insightful observations of the BDSM variety. ❤️😈
The movie isn't bad, it's worth watching. But it could have been really nice if the director had enriched it with more stories about the couple. Detail, many scenes were cut, why is that? He cut scenes and left butterflies, half the movie is butterflies.
Yeah I was also missing a bit more storyline rather than the atmosphere, but all in all it's not too bad at all, but had the chance to be great
You know what's missing from this movie? Depth in Evelyn and Cinthya's relationship has no history. The director was more concerned with putting butterflies in a film instead of telling more about their relationship, both in the relationship, both in submission and even in Evelyn's betrayal. Missing content. If he had enriched the film with more details about the relationship, Evelyn's betrayal and the presentation of the film would have been spectacular. He had the opportunity to work with Sidse Babett, an actress who won so many awards, the director did not learn to take advantage of the actress!
Yes, the movie feels a bit watered down, and it's due to the lack of context. Could have been so much more this movie
I liked the movie until the end. Idk maybe its just my personal limits and boundaries. But there are things scenes shouldn't cross, like family, soiling family heirlooms, fucking with non involved peoples emotions. You shouldn't inflict something that could be traumatic for someone (like leaving your fiance in such a way) for a scene. Leaving your playmate for what, 3 days without water or permission to move to get some? The boyfriend deserved some level of honesty.
Yeah, some things were a bit too much I agree. Perhaps there was a lack of understanding, but also it's quite an old movie now, we have a different point of view of so many things now.
Old wounds are like a swamp that attracts insects.
absolutely true.
This is super useful ,thank you👍🏻 i had no ideas how to use the blindfold in the bedroom but now I have some 😊
Thank you 😊
Just watched….. I’m fairly certain the cake scene was the most erotic (to me) thing I’ve ever seen in a movie. The sub was bratty and annoying, but I empathized with her to a degree. “But dang!? Read the room girl!!” All in all a beautiful movie. So cool that they used moths/butterfly’s throughout… It’s a new favorite of mine. 😁
Finally a great review!
thank you Elena!
