Salith Reviews - Star Wars Republic Commando.
I'm getting Sigourney Weaver vibes (from Galaxy Quest) for the female A-Wing pilots. "It is my duty as an A-Wing pilot to repeat everything I hear."
I'm surprised there wasn't footage of first lady's line that made it into the final cut. Out of curiosity, I want to know what she sounded like when she said "Got it."
Rip old oregon, rip old siege..
ah you randomly got this recommended too?
Some of these lines seem to be from the Battle of Yavin. “You picked one up, watch it!” “I’m in range.” “Right with you.” “I copy, moving into position.”
The general's beard though. Phew.
Awful
God, the edges of the cockpit. They're past the bluescreen. Did they manually roto them? By painting the matte repeatedly frame by frame?
Christ having to just spit out your lines the instant they're fed to you without even a moment to consider what they even mean has gotta suck. "We're starting out attack run on the main power tree?" As Harrison Ford once said: "You can write this shit, George, but you sure can't say it."
The second actor actually had a few solid deliveries
If it hadn't been for General Madine's hair, I'm just not certain it would've been a victory for the rebellion on that fateful day.
7:08-8:30 reminds me of space raiders
Damn I wish that Mon Calamari actually made it into the film
"I dropped by the studio to bring my Jimmy a tea and biscuit and oooh those cheeky monkeys dressed me up like Buck Rogers and shook me around in a ufo!"
Thank god this was cut out!
I get the feeling a lot of the Aliens were a late addition to Star Wars as a lot of actors got replaced by Aliens in scenes! Including Jaba the Hut!
What was going on aboard the Millenium Falcon?
Wtf is up with Crix Madine's hair. It looks like Lego hair.
Fun fact first pilot is in movie but only for one second and she was dubbed by man.
Oh? What part?
th-cam.com/video/DuiRCUKwOoQ/w-d-xo.html 36min
I can see why it was deleted
"Fried Calamari tonight!" Lol
Was macht dein Tinnitus?
Lived with it for 16 years now... It's up and down in intensity. Thanks for asking :)
Would have been awesome to see some Mon Calamari pilots
Damn that 1983 puppeteering. Holy shit it's so good
I always wondered who else was firing the guns on the Falcon.
Imagine being in a Star Wars movie and being cut
well, is it just like, a papercut, from like a script or...?
Wow! This is my first time watching this!
its a trap
I liked the scenes with the troops in the millennium falcon and the mon calamari
Hi
The Mon Cal actor sounds like he's trying to do a Kermit the Frog impression. 😄 😄 😄
Holy shit those first two were absolutely lifeless, the aliens were cool though
The first one had one line in the movie except she was dubbed over
Mmm, women **Drink coffee**
the second one i thought had 2 or 3 good deliveries. you can tell she tried, first one was too imperial
I like teh first ones lifeles delivery. Its perfect for a pilot. Completely bored/calm, unfazed and professional.
1:28 🤷🤦 I guess being a bartender at Mos Eisley wasn’t good enough. 1:32 she didn’t plant that line very well. 5:12 there’s the gold!
Lol first two actors had no idea what they were saying
“It’s my left ‘plower’ supply” 🤣 1:33
The actors would have able to read the lines better if they had a chance to practice. Repeating what was just said is a terrible way to record a line.
I can see why it was cut, the acting was horrible...on par with haydens
now i kinda want a star wars movie in black and white
Why do these people run so awkwardly and stupid?
The dialogue is all from A New Hope. This must have been a test for potential pilots.
The first female pilot was in the movie. The character has one line: “Got it.” The line is dubbed by a male. Her character is immediately killed by two tie interceptors.
I thought she flew a kamikaze into the super star destroyer
@@jaymac8496 The one who got shot down by the Interceptors while trying to lead them away from the other Rebels is Red Three Sila Kott (Played by Poppy Hands) The one who kamikaze crashed into the Executor was Green Leader Arvel Crynyd (Played by Hilton McRae)
Old Siege. Fantastic
Old night Oregon. Fantastic
All this technology and no mens room. Part of me wants to see what those flight suits look like after these battles and part of me really doesn't.
These guys could of put more effort into it. No wonder they didnt make the cut. No change in voice during the sentences
“Fried calamari tonight”! 😆
"I can't Pull out." Wow, I've used that line before.
No kidding, I swore that woman was actually just a feminine looking man.
I would LOVE to do something like this
very poor direction from the guy on the loudspeaker. I know they had to quickfire those lines, but still they barely give the actors enough time to emote the feeling or situation for each one theyve set up such a fast pace for running through their list.
