Treating Persistent/Chronic ITP - Current Care, Future Potential

This presentation will review the pathophysiology and epidemiology of ITP; discuss the standard ITP treatment paradigm, provide an overview of second line agents and present data on novel treatments in development for ITP.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
1. Discuss treatment considerations for persistent/chronic ITP
2. Evaluate the clinical information of approved and emerging therapies for persistent/chronic ITP
3. Develop individualized treatment strategies for patients with persistent/chronic ITP
