A little info on the measurements around the grill would help as well the size of your grill but really like what you did and your friends are a trip!!!
how much did this project cost?
I wonder if it would compromise the strength too much if you took a 1-1/2” spade bit and drilled holes every 3 inches or so on the 2x4 frame to save weight.
How much of the post went into the ground and how tall is the post above ground?
Just came across your channel, no more videos? All of them are so great that I have watched.
Can you lock it ? Or only with traditional one ?
The forces in the hanging chairs are tending to tip the supports structure in a direction they aren't braced for... they look like 6" posts and if they're down far enough, shouldn't be a problem.

how well has the wood held up/ remained sturdy?
This is so fantastic and inspiring! Now that you have finished and have had time to use the pergola and swings, would you say that it is quite sturdy or would you have done anything different? I’m questioning using your design to make one in my yard but I was wondering if 4x4 are sturdy enough or should I use 6x6 posts instead. Experienced builders please feel free to comment.
I'm going to make one too for around my fire pit. I plan on using 6x6 I'm a bigger guy for 1. Also, I only want to build it once. I would go with the bigger ones if you can.
