Wouldn't it be easier if you put the gearbox in manual mode,back up a little in front of the garage,accelerate to have enough speed to stop inside it and switch it in neutral before the car gets inside and the cutscene starts? It should allow you to push it easily

7:16 - I think it was explained in some speedrun of Mafia TCoLH that when you FALL from height - you take damage. But if you JUMP from pretty good height - you might not take any damage at all

I still learn things about this game, good job. What's kind of interesting about the barn is that although the chute feeding the silo isn't collisioned, and as you demonstrated you fall through, the silo itself is collisioned, so you should be able to walk around on/in it without issue (walking inside it after you fall through the hole, the col is backfacing) if you can bypass the chute.

Dieses Tor was du zuletzt für die Flucht mit dem Auto benutzt hast meinte ich. Wo die letzten 4 Morellos hereinkommen. Das war für mich immer besonders schwer mit denen und dem mit dem Maschinengewehr fertig zu werden. Ich glaube ich habe auch mal versucht die Mission durch den Eingang also das Haupttor des Hafens wieder zu verlassen ohne diese passieren zu müssen. Also direkt nach der Hallenszene zum Ausgangspunkt der Mission hineilen, ohne das die Morellos einen vorher aussschalten (ich kannte einige der Health-Verstecke die du verwendet hast nicht und war deshalb zu dem Zeitpunkt immer quasi tot). Ich habe glaube ich noch nicht mal die Granaten genommen und bin direkt mit nem Auto zu der Halle vorgestoßen. Ich kann mich nicht mehr erinnern ob es funktioniert hat. Es kann sein, dass das Spiel dies nicht zulässt und man die letzten Morellos ausschalten muss um den Level zu beenden. Ich weiß es aber nicht mehr genau. Du sprichst an dass auch dort Gegner neu reinkommen. Vielleicht war das ein Grund warum es nicht funktioniert hat bei mir damals. Ja, Ich habe auch einmal aus Versehen mitbekommen, dass man zumindestens den einen Scharfschützen durch den explodierten Tank ausschalten kann. Leider habe ich da nicht genau verstanden, wie das eigentlich zustande gekommen ist., denn ich glaube durch bloßes Draufschießen ging es nicht hoch. Zumindest nicht wenn man nicht konstant drauffeuert. Faszienierend diese Pazifisten-Methode mit dem Baseball-Schläger. Trotzdem verstehe nicht wie die KI bei den meisten "normalen" Gegern so miserabel ist und diese nicht treffen können obwohl man direkt vor ihnen steht. Bestes Beispiel sind die 60 Sekunden nach 9:05. Absolute Slapstick-Nummer. Oder hier bei 13:24 wo du gerade einen mit dem Schläger ausschaltest und die Wache ein Meter daneben mit ner Schrotflinte dich nicht treffen kann. Voll geil. 😂Und dann auf der anderen Seite gibt es Scharfschützen, die auf 50 bis 70 Meter bei fast jedem Schuss zielsicher treffen. Dieser Unterschied der KI ist schon extrem krass finde ich.

Wow, Sehr detailliert. Gute Arbeit. Ich habe neben der Sache mit Morello's Bar noch ein paar Details. 1. Die Straßen- und Hochbahn. Man kann sie im Freien Modus als auch für Missionen benutzen. Ganz witzig mit Paulie und manchmal auch Sam einen Stadttrip zu machen. Dauert zwar länger ist die Erfahrung aber auf alle Fälle wert! - 2. Bei der Mission, in der man in die Villa des Staatsanwalts einbricht, kann man optional das Luxus-Auto von ihm stehlen und für die Flucht benutzen. - 3. (am Rande bereits bei Punk 28 erwähnt) Autos entleeren mit der Zeit ihre Tankfüllung und können an Tankstellen nachgetankt werden. Dies ist normalerweise in der regulären Story nicht erkennbar, da alle Autos mit ausreichender Füllung ausgestattet sind. Wäre schon interessant hätte man dies in einer Mission mal verwendet.

My most favorite bug in the entire game XD. I also knew how to kill Sam with a baseball bat. I sneak up behind him, then I shoot him with a Thompson in his head, so that he can't move, and then I quickly get the baseball bat and hit him in his back.

I think it's necessary to point out that these games would have big differences because they're made by different developers and they have a big gap in realese dates but I think the company who made the game focused to much on it's predecessor Mafia 3 (also having the same company who made it) rather than looking back and make something we can feel nostalgic The main game is particularly the same as Mafia 3. Tommy takes the same personality as the protagonist in Mafia 3 where at the beginning refuses to join the mob but when offered a second time is more than eager to join mainly to take revenge. The other characters take in the same personality from the characters in Mafia 3 as well except I find that some of them are tweaked while others are practically the same as in the original giving the fact they have little to no screentime. I like the fact the chapters are more detailed and myself I don't mind the combat nor the driving downgraded because again it's predecessor has those exact same physics. Same combat system same driving system however like you mentioned I don't like that you can't attempt stuff that normally isn't scripted and gives you more questions about what you can possibly do in missions which gives more replay value thus making you more attached into it. In the racing mission every lap it's scripted the one of the racers in front of you will crash at some point which if you're in 3rd and have 2 more laps and can maintain that position it's in easy win. In the Morello chase I don't like you can't have that alternative mission where you chase Morello until this destroyed bridge and you push him off. Everything seems so straight forward and scripted that simply it gets boring for me. Free ride got very hit by this because I don't like that there's only just some missions you do to unlock cars, costumes, guns I want the actual freeride where you can do what you want. I'd always make 10 million cops chasing me and I'd try to stack as much money as I can so I can use it on useful/useless stuff which again it adds replay value and makes you more attached to the game. The origi the also has so many Easter Eggs and Secrets which makes the game special which is missing in the definitive edition for me and makes it boring. As said I don't mind the combat or the driving downgraded but without any of the freeride or the secrets for me Mafia isn't Mafia and this "Definitive Edition" is just a bad carbon copy of the original respectfully.

What I found out just moments ago is that when you're with Paulie and Sam they have face expression (only happy and mad) when you punch them they will change expression. Make sure when you do this they won't trigger weapons. Tried it in Just For Relaxation (random pick lol) and they won't trigger weapons there if you punch them (I haven't tried it out with the other characters but I suspect it's the same with them as well)

Great video, hope there more to come. I still play mafia these days with mods. Cant wait to use them when some of them still come out. Didn’t know how many unused lines there are in the German version. Sometimes they are getting used when you use different mods. Don’t know if you already knew it, but in the German version of the game you are allowed to kill Ralph amd Luigi in the bar without failing the mission. If you kill them silently and nobody sees the dead bodies nothing happens. But when Pauli or Sam are seeing them while walking around all Family members are going to attack you.

Or maybe I just forgot smth…

Where are the grenades located in this last level? Is it a cheat_code or they are really being in the Museum? I finished M1 a plenty of times, but didn’t know about the grenades at all… at least, I do not remember it.

Fact 28. There often happens that the fuel tank gets ruptured by enemies firing. Fuel will continue to drop, but it never drops to zero that way. So... I guess that after your fuel drains to its minimum, then you can run out of fuel by simply driving? (Using Steam version of Mafia).

I am greatful for so much afford in this video so I decided to use mafiacon which allows me to spawn any car I want and yes it can be kept and can in other missions too
