Read Caption⬇️ I truly believe that more students need to ask questions about the material they are learning. Why? Because Asking the right questions can help strengthen your understanding of the course concepts. I totally understand not wanting to ask questions. Nodding your head in class like you have everything figured out, just so you don’t appear lost. The truth is, if you’re lost, so are other people in the class, it’s just that nobody is brave enough to speak up yet. We live in such a valuable era because as students we have access to tools like artificial intelligence to support our learning. Too afraid to ask your professor? Okay, then ask AI platforms! They can help explain concepts that you might not have understood, improving your understanding. The more I do this, the more I understand the content, which leads to better performance. Here’s What I Would Do to Truly Win at School: 1. Reverse Engineer Your Ideal Career Plan Ask yourself: What’s the end goal? Why am I pursuing this degree? You don’t need all the answers, but having a plan will help you be more intentional with your studies.📈 2. Leverage School Resources Maximize the tools and resources your school offers, access to published journals, design tools, resume workshops and more. Use them to your advantage.💫 3. Surround Yourself with Ambitious People Connect with people who have both similar and different perspectives. Being around ambitious individuals will inspire you to see the world differently, encouraging you to grow.⭐️ 4. Distance Yourself from Negativity Toxic people can drain your energy and kill your dreams. Don’t let people’s limiting beliefs stop you from moving forward 🕶️ 5. Build Relationships with Faculty Your school’s faculty is a valuable resource for learning, mentorship, and networking. Get to know them.⭐️ 6. Enjoy the Journey Remember, being young and pursuing higher education is a privilege. Be grateful for the experience and make the most of it.🌍 Subscribe for more educational and inspirational content 🔥

How To Be More Consistent (Read Caption)💡 Contrary to popular belief, you are already consistent.💯 If you brush your teeth daily, shower regularly, go to the gym, or show up for work, then you’ve proven you have what it takes to be consistent.✅ To build consistency in the areas where you want to improve, here are a few things to keep in mind: 1) Develop a stronger emotional pull toward your goal. If something really matters to you, you’ll find a way to get it done. We all have the same 24 hours and most of us spend time doing what we prioritize. 2) Reduce friction between you and your goal. For example, if you want to learn how to play the guitar, don’t hide your guitar in a closet where you’ll forget about it. Keep it visible and easily accessible. The same applies to studying, creating content, or hitting the gym. Make it convenient! 3) Surround yourself with the right people. If you want to be consistent in studying, join a friend who can study for long hours. If you want to hit the gym more often, work out with someone who already goes regularly. Being around the right people or environment goes a long way. I truly believe that consistency is already within you. You might just need to make a few adjustments to unlock it. Keep Winning! #discipline #goalsetting #mindsetmotivation #growthmindset #mentality #consistency #winning

Here are 10 Cheat Codes I Wish I Knew Earlier as a University Student: 1. Develop a Learning System Your priority is to learn. Adopt a system that saves time and yields better results (I’ll share mine soon). 2. Have Outlets University can be overwhelming. Find hobbies or activities outside of your studies to stay well-rounded. 3. Integrate Fitness Fitness boosts learning, confidence, and discipline. It’s a game-changer for your mind and body. 4. Surround Yourself with Winners The people around you shape your growth. Choose those striving to be and do better. 5. Prioritize Important Tasks Focus on what matters most. You can’t do everything at once, so manage your energy wisely. 6. Reverse Engineer Your Career Plan Think ahead. Use your time in university to build skills and connections for your future. 7. Expand Your Network You’re surrounded by future leaders. Build relationships-they’re invaluable for your journey. 8. Prioritize Mental Well-being Your mental health is key. Balance sleep, socializing, and self-care to keep going strong. 9. Capture Moments Document your journey with photos and videos-you’ll treasure these memories later. 10. Grow Through Challenges Setbacks happen. Use them as opportunities to learn, adapt, and build resilience. Keep winning and follow for more content! #school #collegestudent #university #selfimprovement #keepgoing

If I’m being completely honest, I go through phases where I love school and other times when I’m not feeling it and I think that’s normal. But lately, I’ve found myself really enjoying it, and here’s why: #1 Lean in with gratitude: If you live in a first-world country and have access to higher education, you’re incredibly blessed. It’s easy to forget but there are people who are praying to be in the position you are in today. Don’t take it for granted.⭐️ #2 Link what you’re learning to something bigger: When you can convince yourself that what you’re learning is important for your future, you’ll show up and work harder. Remind yourself that everything you’re studying today is building you for your future. In my program (Medical Science), there are times when the material is tough and I have to break down complex ideas but I know these higher-level skills will serve me immensely later.🎯 #3 Romanticize your learning: Working at my desk or in the library is a privilege. I enjoy my campus and the study spaces I have access to. I have technology that works and is powerful. Find ways to make your work environment feel fun. Study at a nice coffee shop, in your favourite library, or with a group of friends.🗣 School can be challenging, but when you truly appreciate the opportunity in front of you, you’ll try your best and make the most of it.💡

More time spent studying does not always lead to better grades.❌ I fell into this trap in my first year of university, believing that the more hours I spent studying, the better my grades would be. 👥 I remember having days where I would “study” for 9+ hours, thinking that longer sessions would result in higher test scores.🥲 I find when people claim to study for VERY long hours, they’re often using ineffective learning strategies. 💯 If that’s the case, it doesn’t matter how much time you spend studying, you’ll likely won’t see the grades you were hoping for.⚡️ What I should have done instead was focus on shorter, more targeted learning sessions using evidence-based learning techniques. This would have saved me time and boosted my performance.📈 Techniques like interleaving, spaced repetition, active recall, and using the gap effect, etc.🧠 I’m not saying you shouldn’t invest time in your studies, but if you’re spending a lot of time on ineffective learning strategies then you’re wasting your time.🧏🏾 I’ll break down more effective learning strategies in future videos, so make sure to follow for more content. Keep Winning

I remember my first year of university, waking up early just to start studying, going to bed late and constantly working around the clock to finish my work. I didn’t always want to do it, but I had to get it done. I would watch my peers going out and having fun, and I often felt like I was doing it all wrong. Some people even called me a "turtle" because all I did was go to the gym and study (like a turtle that stays in its shell). My biggest challenge was not knowing how to learn effectively, so I spent my days doing tasks that felt productive but rarely yielded good results. Looking back at those moments, they helped me build a stronger work ethic than I ever knew I was capable of. Now, I smile knowing that learning how to work hard, especially when no one is watching will be a key component of my success. Now, I spend far less time on schoolwork and fill my time with projects and extracurriculars, all while achieving better grades. I’ll be posting more about my personal learning system and how I use it to save time, so make sure to follow for more content @miles.l13 Keep winning! #studentlife #collegeadvice #studenttips #schooltips #learning

3 Important Things You Should Understand as a High-Performing Student 💯 #1 Set clear, input-driven goals.💡 Instead of setting a goal to achieve a certain average or maintain a certain physique, focus on the actions required to make those goals a reality. For example, set a goal to use evidence-based study techniques in your learning or to workout four times a week. The right inputs lead to the right outputs. #2 Narrow your focus.🎯 As a busy student, the time you allocate to your priorities is limited. What are your main priorities? Focus on the top 3-5 items and learn how to say “no” to anything that does not support those priorities. Protect your energy. #3 Schedule time for hobbies.🥳 It may seem counterintuitive, but your hobbies are extremely important. Not only do they keep you well-rounded, but they can also help improve your academic performance. Make time for your hobbies, as they will aid your mental health and ensure you have the stamina to complete the school year. Wishing you all the best this academic year!
