I’ve spent the last 10 years doing gps tracker installs for finance companies all over the highest crime areas of Chicago, I do the installs at the customers house/ apartment, I’m always alone, personal vehicle, no uniform, and thousands of dollars in tools and I’ve had zero problems. If your friendly, respectful, and approachable I have found you can go pretty much anywhere you want and with a little situational awareness have no problems, even the worst areas are 98% awesome people that will make sure the 2 percent of bad apples don’t bother you
