Thanks Molly. I got there at the end so had to watch most of it on the replay. I did NOT get a notification email with link or you tube icon to pull down on my phone . It finally showed up when i checked in on the you tupe app again I got in just in time to read the comments and to sign up for Bingo tomorrow. I have no A/c so might have to sit outside with Bingo. Thanks for telling your story. It sounds like you have been on a marathon of a journey. We are coming up on our second year since my wife's aneurysm was discovered. We have been able to seek out and learn along the way and so far, had planned surgeries so she has not had a dissection. We are wearing down because it has gotten increasingly hard to stay positive on our journey. 5 procedures in the last 24 months. Your resilience is inspiring.

Hi Erin. Thank you sharing your story with us. I think it is difficult to see things taken away from you, to have little control without much understanding. As I have said I gave my life to their hands for two weeks and then they gave it back to me... to us. It is always good to see our stories through the eyes of our caregivers and supporters. I still have questions and I am not out of the woods yet, but I am glad that I have her to hold my hand as we step once more into the sunshine. So glad to have Tom with us, and you with him. Bless.

Thank you John for your counsel . Trying every day to build up my hope and live in the moment and accept. I am a Type B and a Type A aortic dissection survivor. I will require surgery in the future too as there is another 4.8 cm descending thoracic aneurysm. So much to process.

I m still in wait and monitor. I don t live in fear. I have faith and Jesus got my back.

I m so sorry the medical journey was so neglectfull on the medical site. I hope after ypu moved have more caring doctors. I myself was blessed with the knowledge Dr on call after I was brought in by ambulance and he order a CT. Now if I get a doctor that doesn't show to care. I will look for an other one. Now that you are dissected it is in your chart they now know each time you go in at the ER they should be more alert. I ve been to the ER a few times at different ER and can t complain about my care. Pray you feel more at peace and that you will be taken care off when needs comes.Be sure to wear a medical ID. I keep the latest CT on a disk in my purse. But most ER don t have option to run CT so keep r written cadiolist report on you. I m 10 years post my dissection. Thanks for your sharing your story.
