Yo you look familiar I think I saw you today 🤨
@@BG_baits3 yep!
1st one here.
Legend!
I used a tail of a lure my dad accidentally ripped off and got 5 in one day 😂
Honestly, a hook, drop shot, and some worms work better than any artificial could dream of
Ok look crickets work too
@@Benjiboy35124meal worms and grubs the list goes on and on
It’s not all about how many fish for everyone. live minnows work best for crappie but u sit there and do nothing. Jigging with fake minnows works too but takes skill as well.
How are you supposed to learn anything from this?
I feed my buzzard friends every day . they like a little snack , one was just on my back porch this morning and I handed him a chicken leg
we are heading there tomorrow...our favorite place to fish...we are from Indiana!
@@matthewclinkenbeard4950 awesome! We were just there last weekend. We did really well. Enjoy your stay!
Hello! Thank you for your videos. I have a Pit Boss Vertical smoker and I have full venison hind quarters that I want to smoke, on the bone, and am writing to ask if you have a video where you might have smoked one so that I can get the time and heat needed to do this on my own? I want to hang it and smoke it.
Thanks for your comment! I have smoked entire venison hams just like you have described. Since they vary so much in size, it's difficult to point you in the right direction. What I can say is that I used hickory and ran it at 225 until I felt like it was at the doneness I wanted. I want to say it was for 12-15 hours. Another helpful tip is to actually debone and truss with butcher's string. The Pit Boss Brisket recipe is a really good one to start with until you dial in your process. Hope this helps!
@@sharethewildwithjimrichman THANK YOU so much. This is the closest I have come to anyone helping me with this. I will definitely keep this written down.
Were you using any split shot?
Heard you on "The Great Outdoor" on the radio in St. Louis. Trying out a video. Great video! Not a hunter but, Love the outdoors and wildlife! Thanks for the video!
Wow I have to tell you it was so enjoyable I can't believe how beautiful it was trying to listen to what you have to say and the music at the same time wow and the music you picked wow that was awesome wow you could be a DJ or you could work at a radio station playing music you know what to play exactly wow. Of course I'm being sarcastic and you're an idiot playing music wow you are talking
Can I just pay you to follow me around 🤷🏻♂️
I was at Bennett yesterday I caught a pound and a half fish
Awesome! We love fishing there!
If you freeze your chunks of meat to a firm to hard it grinds faster and also aids in keeping the head cook also . If your second grind runs little slow you can in return also form the first grind up in the freezer to help the smaller grinders run a second run . I have the 1hp carnivore I have my meat partially frozen and add fat as I grind 1 run through the fine plate and it hammers down and never bogs so I get 1 grind and done instead of having to run two times
Are ya fishing at Bennett springs
nice
Great video
Great idea! I would like to see some make with white Paracord. And wrapping the head with thread like a fly might make it better and tougher. I'd use red thread and white cord because red and white is a great combo for lures. I could see bigger ones working like bucktails too.
That was exactly Easton’s thoughts. Maybe future video content!
Awesome job little homie I'm definitely going to make a few of these and keep them on me at all times now
Let us know how they work!
Who shoots a squirrel in the shoulder and ruins the meat??
Clearly someone a far worse shot than you! 🤣 It was the eight-year-old behind the camera for this video that was using an open-sighted .22 that belonged to his great-great grandfather. Thanks for watching!
Bennet springs heck yeah!
You know it! One of our favorite places.
What other attachments came with this unit? IE sausage stuffer for making sausage links or grillers.
Just booked my campsite, still a few left!
Nice dinner. Would have been nice to know your cook temperatures and time
Almost bought the Cabela's Carnivore #8. It has some nice features over the Weston Pro #8 but 1/2hp instead of 3/4hp for the Weston. Both are nice grinders but the Weston Pro was on sale so I jumped on it. A huge upgrade from my Waring Pro 150 :).
What I did this year was use my food processor since I didn't have a grinder. I just watched the venison until it wasn't TOO much like mush. Then I added some pre-made pork sausage. One thing I regret NOT doing was adding more sausage type seasoning to the mix. It tastes more like breakfast BUGERS.
Awesome family 🇺🇸
Good family content. The world needs more of this.
Gret review! How's it holding up?
Really well! We like it!
We have a big Hobart grinder and when we use it we always freeze the plates and all the moving parts and it helps it all stay cold
Toothpaste rub it in really good then rinse BTW THIS WORKS ON FISH
Can you post your full recipe?
salt, pepper, flour, deepfry in bacon grease till tender. man! , some milk gravey with a cathead bisquit !! What smell? lol
🌺🌸🐝👨🌾🐇🍅🫑☀️🦋🌼🌻 I love watching my garden grow a little each day, that is my favorite part of gardening.Thank you for sharing your garden videos so now I can watch your garden grow too! Your garden is so inspiring! I love it so much I started filming garden videos too. I am in my 3rd year of gardening and still have so much to learn. I hope we can learn more from each other!
Starting fluid aka eather and soap and cook out warm water
Warm and cool water
That’s how to get the smell of your hands
I use large germicidal disposable wipes after field cleaning the squirrels. The wipes are bactericidal, tuberculocidal, and virucidal in 2 minutes.
Now I can go catch trout 🙌🏻
Do it!!!
I grew up in Missouri and have many memories of my parents taking me there. My Boy Scout Troop used to float the Niangua River every Memorial Day. Bennett Springs is where I learned to fly fish as a 10 year old with my grandfather's old fly rod. Missouri is blessed with the beautiful outdoors of the Ozarks. I always tell people the Ozarks are one of the best kept secrets in the country. I left Missouri in the early 1980's when I joined the Marines and then my career bounced me all over the US. I live back east now, but I still enjoy going home to the Ozarks when I get a chance. Enjoy this time with your kids; they're only that age once and you don't get a do-over.
It really is a special place and we love every opportunity to share it!
Great job
Thanks for watching!
i was in the cabin right next to you guys also sorry for using the lighter fluid. i’m curious as to why we couldn’t use it?
Hey Elliot. We heard about that incident. While it wasn’t us directly (We actually weren’t outside at that time.) It was someone from our group. Nothing wrong with lighter fluid as long as it’s being used responsibly.😉
@@GraceintheWildTV thank you that’s what i thought that it wasn’t directly you and think you for clearing it up. me and my friend were just wondering.
this is perfect i will be going to bennett springs soon for the first time and now know what to expect thank you!
Nice! Good Luck!
@@GraceintheWildTV thanks
I do like those inner loins the best.
I love it my brotha. Continue these videos. Buying a grinder this weekend
Please continue the videos
Let's go! Great looking burgers
Awesome meat grinder
Wow, so now the 1/2hp has a reverse?! That is a game changer for me. If I remember correctly you had to step all the way up to the 1hp model before reverse was offered which was a big $$$ jump and to be honest that would be way more than I need. We have our own butcher shop (not a business) stocked with commercial appliances including a hobart grinder that came out of a grocery store but it is about an hour from my house. It would be nice to have a small grinder here I can run brisket trimmings or pork trimmings through whenever the time comes. Great demonstration BTW! 👍👍
“A couple of things to note…” your daughter is super cute and absolutely adores you. Look at her eyes on you! What a beautiful relationship y’all must have! She’s so sweet!
why would you not include footage of the grinding?
Did you watch the video?
Great video guys! Love that the hole family is involved and learning. I'm definitely going to try this recipe for my venison sausage! Keep it up 👌
Thank you! Let us know what you think!
