FURTHERMORE, the cops conversations caught on the camera audio, is REPULSIVE. makes me wonder if those cops have any pets of their own, and how they'd feel if someone "coming to help" point blank shot their pet dead, and then proceeded to laugh and fckn joke about it. i truly hope this agency understands the kind of damage this has done to their public perception and reputation. i will NEVER trust this agency. EVER. id be better off dealing with problems myself than to trust it to these power-tripping, heartless, compassionless, fake ass "cops". _"protect and serve"_ MY ASS. smh.

Not only that but your deputy gave her a ride back to her house and another one drove her vehicle to a gas station parking lot for her. Why did your deputies purposely mute their microphone so there would be no record of why they decided not to arrest or give field sobriety. Then, nobody went and checked on her children that she admitted had been left at the house with another “older” child, but nobody checked to see if they were ok? She said her husband was also driving drunk at that very moment. But nobody checked to see where he was? Is this all the citizens of Walton county mean to you Sheriff? The gas station clerk Mary Yard, 30, of DeFuniak Springs has been arrested by Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office and charged with fleeing and eluding and aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer. Charges stem from her involvement in a multi-county multi-agency pursuit where she drove Dallas Francis, 33, as he repeatedly shot at deputies and later troopers following an attempted traffic stop. Yard was originally thought to be the victim of the Friday morning robbery. Walton County Sheriff’s Office investigators had been searching for Francis who was suspected of stealing more than $34,000 from the Circle K at around 5:20 am. Francis has a lengthy criminal history including prior felony charges of aggravated robbery out of Ohio. I’m 100% okay with everything except the last couple shots. She was told to exit the car and as soon as she opens the door someone fires multiple rounds. Luckily they hit the ground but those were excessive and negligent. Everything else was spot on.

Thank God none of the police officers and the innocent people in the car that pulled into the grass to get out of the way of the pursuit just a short distance back got hurt by all the gunfire.

Some of the comments are a little weird about the video not being blurred... Ummm... Well you see there is nothing to blur. Videos get blurred if there is large amounts of blood or "gore" that isn't noticeable in this video even though it looks like the guy may have took some hits there is still nothing we can clearly see. There is a video on TH-cam were a guy gets a shotgun blast to the face, yea... it's blurred. TH-cam has gotten a lot more snow flakey in the past 6 or 7 years.

Whoever fired those last four shots when the driver opened the door was panic firing. They struck the ground wildly, at someone who wasn’t threatening. There needs to be some accountability for that.
