Momma cats and kittens in need
I am taking in a mother cat and her seven kittens as well as an additional pregnant cat. They apparently have fleas. So they are going into my screened in patio.

 gunsmoke was trapped last night and brought in off of the street. He had been fighting and carousing and struggling, and now he is in a safe haven, but even then, change is hard.

Adoptable cuddles came to me three weeks ago from Kitten Academy needing socialization. She spent three weeks in the safety and security of my bathroom and worked with me learning to trust. Clover is the most beautiful girl; if her four kittens are anything like her, they will be beautiful too. I hope she finds a wonderful home, where she will be loved and cherished. Thank you so much for helping Clover and her kittens; all your efforts to care for this furry family, and for the others, are invaluable. Keep up the good work, Debbie, and also remember to take care of yourself too.
Her kittens were stunning! She had two white kittens with crystal blue eyes and two seal point kittens with blue eyes. They have all been adopted and are living there forever dreams! Now it’s just clover looking for her home.
I think there is a possibility that Gunsmoke may have been cared by someone from his demeanor and in allowing you to pet him without any resistance or fear. But as I have said before, animals can sense the kindness and compassion of individuals who really care for them and about them as you do....

May I say Debbie that I’m so relieved and quite happy to see just how so chilled and relaxed Gunsmoke is with you and how his eyes are normal and not like saucers which usually happens with either scared or feral cats. This is a definite win win situation fo you and him and there shouldn’t be any issues or dangerous problems from him either. The fact thet you are able to touch him and pet him and him loving every moment of it speaks volumes.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🥳😺❤️. He’s such an awesome cat and such a handsome one too. I do thank you for taking him and asp for working with him too. I don’t see any issues that will arise from him (I.e. hissing, biting, scratching) in any way. I think you’re gonna be great with him just like you were with our sweet Cuddles whom was (I believe) just scared and not sure of people and not sure if she could trust them too. This video and all of Cuddles videos gave me such joy to watch and has made me smile so much too but watching Cuddles the first time with you and her trusting you just made me cry happy tears. God bless you sweet lady and I hope that your next vieeow of Gunsmoke are gonna be just like sweet Cuddles in that he will just love you to pieces and probably end up playing too. Sorry if I missed something, what happened to the sweet cat? Will they still try to trap him now that you have the dominate cat and the sweet cat go to someone else? Or now that he is safe *fingers-crossed will they leave him as is? Also, I thought I would bring up a TH-cam channel that I have watched for years, they are in Canada) who deal only with Feral moms with there babies and sometimes a daddy Feral. I am mentioning it incase you, or anyone else, want to give them a watch. I've learned a lot through just watching there process <3 TinyKittens HQ (@TinyKittens) Good Luck with this new venture <3

I can truly connect to an interrupted night. I take many meds that don't like each other. I have to set an alarm to get up in the middle of the night to take a stinking pill.
Gunsmoke is most likely a night owl, sorry, cat. He probably knows Cuddles was/is in heat and we know what he wants and he's not getting it. 😂 All part of fostering is the night disturbances!!! Hopefully he will settle into a routine of stay awake during the day and sleep all night, we hope!!! Good luck.

I suspect he'll do well with you - he looked wary but not furious in the video, which is impressive for a feral cat. But even if it turns out that your home isn't the right place for him long term, you've already given him food, a safe space, and affection that he didn't have yesterday. [Meant that to be supportive but I can't tell if I sound obnoxious - if so, sorry]. Thanks for being you 🙂
