You need to make sure that your thyroid is in control with medication. Low milk secretion you can pump every 3 hrs ( even if you don’t get any milk for atleast 10 mins) Breastfeed whenever possible to increase stimulation for breast milk production. If you plan to breastfeed, pump after feeding. Try this for at least a week, if you still see no difference you should contact your lactation consultant or you can opt for our online lactation consultation

About 20 days later It was difficult to latch on the affected side, a week's time and everything was back in place, and feeding comfortably now

If she is feeding from 12 to 6 for more than a week, then your supply needs to be checked.

Check the latch of your baby. Sometimes during cluster feeding, baby also gets easily tired of frequent feeding and latch of the baby becomes shallow towards the middle or end of the feed, this causes pain in nipples. At such times, disengage the latch and try again. Hope this helps!

These tips will definetly help you Dhivya, but also other factors are there for eg. when the baby is not sucking at breast there are other factors like if mother doesn't have enough milk or nipple is flat or inverted then sucking doesn't improve without further help, if latch is incorrect that has to be fixed and if sucking is an issue then suck training has to be done.

Thoda thoda pike wo idhar udhar behek jaa raha jaise lag raha usko khud samjh nhi aa raha ki pet nhi bhar raha ..

Milk production har ma ka alag hota hai, aur usko kaam karne ke tarike bhi alag hote hai. Breastfeeding positions change karne se overproduction ke effect ko kum kiya ja sakta hai. Ek samay mein ek hi side se dudh pilane se dheere dheere milk production kaam ho sakta hai lekin mastitis ka khatra bhi ho sakta hai

Weight I will check mam, iam giving formula milk also along with breast milk

That's not necessary. The position itself helps to get the burp. If baby is uncomfortable in burping position then occasional patting can be helpful. Hope this helps!

Lactation granules like Lactare, lactohil or lactonic,any of these can be taken according to the package instructions

After breastfeeding, immediately express milk using breast pump/hand expression. Always few ml milk is still present in the breast after feeding. Once the milk stops coming out, then you know your breast is fully empty. Breast pump is more accurate in emptying breasts than hand expression. Hope this helps!

How many days took to resolve the surgery pain? How many days dressing is done for you. Actually on 7th jun i got abscess surgery. I am getting so much of pain.

@@anushasomu5753 it was not much painful post surgery... and they called me twice for dressing...after that I was doing it on my own...I got two cuts though...and both of them are healed now...so don't worry...you can have PCM tablets for pain.

@@lavanyavelu4022 my surgeon adviced me to start pumping from 3rd day only as my cut was not near the areola. Milk stopped coming from the cut after 6-7 days and after 15 days of surgery I started breastfeeding also from that very breast.

Hello, If she had breast abscess which is recently drained, then it must be difficult to breastfeed or express from that breast, because of this the milk in the breast can get accumulated in the form of lump. She can try to hand express milk as much as possible, if possible breastfeed from that breast. No massage over the lump but she can gently apply pressure while expressing milk. It may resolve with this. If lump is doesn't resolve or becomes painful, red or if she gets fever, you have to visit the doctor.
