Thats difficult to say, it depends how you look at it. Amsterdam marathon is very crowded, but for a first marathon its very good, because there is a lot of crowds cheering and thousands of runners, so u will get more motivated when it gets hard. But if you wanna run faster, then its difficult to pass people. On the Other hand Eindhoven is much more quiet, and you have lot of space to run, and not so much marathon runner. But still very beautiful marathon. For me i would run Eindhoven marathon, that would be my choice.

@@MartinTomjuk spent to less energy on, so I think 3:30 is goed time to aim… :) it was my first marathon, so decided to check my power, and indeed as you say on yours video “ASML” 6min/km to slow start, I think 5:30 half and second half 4:40-5:00

Hello, thank you. They are both very beautiful marathons, but as matter of fact i ran only the Eindhoven marathon. However i also wanted to run Amsterdam marathon this year, but i was unlucky to not get a ticket. It was all sold out very quickly as it is very popular marathon, where more than 40 000 people go run. I know Amsterdam well and its a beautiful city, and the marathon course takes you from the olympic stadium through the beautiful parts of Amsterdam. So i think you should do that, and if you dont get ticket for Amsterdam marathon you can always run Eindhoven marathon, which is considerably less busy. Very beautiful course with lots of nature and not too much elevation gain, so mostly flat. I really enjoyed Eindhoven marathon and i want to run it next time again. Good luck on your choice, and enjoy the run!
