I remember watching this on VHS as a 10 year old. Used to read everything Alan Yates wrote at Sea Angler. That anorak was so cool and i remember asking for one for Christmas. Interesting to see some significant developments in Sea Angling since 88? but still now with tapered leader, conti rods and grips not stolen from our tennis rackets the water craft standards are still to be followed. Oh the days of Crutchy and Craddocks. The Carp Strikes Back by hutchy was a belting read. Carp Fever by Maddocks on the other hand had a 12 step pictorial step by step sequence "how to strike a carp from the lying down position"! Pure gold..

Lots has changed over the years, but the basics are still the same! Seeing the lead arrangement I guess lead clips weren't even a thing. Popular anglers now talk about running leads like it's the new rig mechanic when it was used thirty years ago
