HalleluYAH!! This sermon reminds me of an old joke about human arrogance. One day a group of scientists got together and decided that humanity had come a long way and no longer needed YAH. So they picked one scientist to go and tell Him that they were done with Him. The scientist walked up to YAH and said, “we've decided that we no longer need you. We’re to the point where we can clone people, manipulate atoms, build molecules, fly through space, and do many other miraculous things. So why don’t you just go away and mind your own business from now on?” YAH listened very patiently and kindly to the man. After the scientist was done talking, YAH said, “Very well. How about this? Before I go, let’s say we have a human-making contest.” To which the scientist replied, “Okay, we can handle that!” “But,” YAH added, “we’re going to do this just like I did back in the old days with Adam.” The scientist nodded, “Sure, no problem” and bent down and picked up a handful of dirt. YAH wagged a finger at him and said, “Uh, uh, uh. Put that down. Go find your own dirt.”

Shalom, so that there is no misunderstanding of presidents' behavior while in office. The decision, written by Chief Justice John Roberts, established a broad new immunity from prosecution, not just for Trump, but for past and future presidents, too. Presidents may not be prosecuted for exercising their “CORE” CONSTITUTIONAL POWERS, and even in situations where former presidents might be prosecuted after leaving office, they are entitled to at least presumptive immunity from prosecution for OFFICIAL ACTIONS they took as president. Such immunity is needed, said the chief justice, in order to protect an “energetic,” and “independent executive,” willing to take “bold” actions and make unpopular decisions when needed. And while Roberts said that PRIVATE ACTIONS by a former president are not protected from prosecution, his opinion seemed to inexorably intertwine private and public actions. Even though man's law is not above YAH's law, they (man) are still subject to YAH's judgement.
