I have the same bike two days after I bought it I granadedthe timing chaintentioners I found 15 pieces so it looks like I have to do a complete tear down I've never done one so it's nice to see some one wit JB the same bike

The compensators are a normal wear item, you might have to replace it if it acts up again.

Compensator issues have been a problem for years. I don't know why Harley doesn't come up with something better. After market Compensators are much better so why doesn't Harley correct the problem? Mine rattles and makes all kind of noises. The dealer says its normal.

Harley-Davidson is no longer the same company in a BAD WAY. I still have my Harley and still enjoy it, however, I will no longer support, or buy from Harley-Davidson.

2017 and older are nt dei crap. Keep it, ride it, enjoy it. Just don't spend money at HD corporate. Use mom&pop shops.

It's not a "straight whiteboy club" you enter with the purchase of a Dyna...., they are mad because the company is trying to be inclusive to something already inclusive...... You don't have to prove you are a straight white man to buy one, so what's the big deal. I was front row right stage in front of Marks amazing guitar work.

I got there early,inside the bike down and parked right in front of Shooters,it was a great show,a four band event,Unearth took the stage first,Kerry King second,Mastodon third and yep,Lamb of God headliner,my ears are still ringing,my hearing was so fucked up last night that when I was leaving,I fired the Harley up and my ears were screaming!!

I have the same bike is that 2003 mine has different front end who ever had it before me changed it i love mine yours really looks nice i got hard bags for mine too much better than the leather ones

How much was the seat $ ?

I believe the torque speck for the compensator sprocket is right around 165 ft-lbs and red locktite should be used.

The Best you could ? Did you tourqe it to speck? Use locktite ? Check the condition of the compensator? Primary chain tension?
