Making a Bow out of Foam! (Horizon Forbidden West Aloy Cosplay)
I spent 70 hours of my life crafting the Berserker Hunter Bow from Horizon Forbidden West. Quite the mouthful! Watch how to make a prop bow out of EVA foam.

Safety measures: Please take care of yourself and wear respirators and gloves when working with toxic materials like contact cement, E-6000, and resin. Respirators should also be worn for sanding foam and heating plastic (like EVA foam and PVC pipes). Lastly, any time you’re using a power tool, remember to wear safety glasses. You’ve only got one set of eyes!
(My personal safety standards have gotten more strict since filming this video, which is why you might see me not following these standards. But trust me, I've learned).

This is stunning! I've never seen the welted seam before but it looked amazing on the corset, as well as the bias tape - I always hated stitching in the ditch afterward, it never looks good, so I'd love to try sewing and topstitching it like you did instead. I think it's interesting going between clothesmaking and cosplay, because a regular clothesmaker wouldn't paint their fabric or cut holes in it on purpose but of course a cosplayer wants to speed up that worn look for their character. Painting the seams darker looks amazing; I need to try it on my work now.
thank you! This was my first time using the welt-seam corset method and I'm extremely happy with how it turned out. There are so many sewing techniques out there and I'm always glad when I can help someone else find new ones to try out too :)
