Hopefully this doesn’t happen again !! Thanks for the info
@@markbuck9299 no problem bud. I hope it doesn’t happen again but stay tuned as soon as the turner one comes in I’ll be doing my best to break it🤣
Thanks for the update. I have a tough time thinking can am would under size that piece, it’s gonna hate the 100hp and really hate your tune once you get it. Weird things happen in production, maybe a bad batch run .
@@korencet4331 I hope I just got a bad one but hopefully the fix will be out soon from turner so I shouldn’t break it again.
So I bought one and 2nd ride broke both front axles and can am is denying my claim!! 😡 Something has to be going on here!
@@ronniemoore2951 yeah it’s been a pain but at least it was just the drive shaft for me and it was 179 dollars but I think it’s bs it broke as easily. I did a follow up video covering everything on my end. But they do seem to be breaking unless your babying them
Holy crap thats a snap!
Do you think something else caused it? Something in the ring and pinion binding?
@@korencet4331 I have had that thought but to be honest because I was so close to the trailer I rode it on the trailer and called the dealer because I was 5 hours away and wanted to get it dropped off before the closed so they could start working on it asap
@@mjmisadventures950 Gotcha. It does seem odd. It seems like you would have had way more load on things in the mud
@@korencet4331 I agree like I said if it would’ve broke in a mud pit I would’ve said well it happens but I was driving up a slight hill with some snow. It could’ve been the diff but I’m still guessing at this moment. I’ll hopefully know more tomorrow and can give everyone a follow up
Sorry to hear that. I'll be watching for updates
It’s ok 💩 happens. Sucks I’m ready to get my tune and exhaust on but this is slowing me down a bit. I’ll keep yall posted though.
@mjmisadventures950 ikr. I may do tune in two weeks. May fab up a exhaust this week.
I have the slg exhaust and the rvs tune coming just waiting on the Atv to come back so I can send it out.
@mjmisadventures950 ok. Definitely tag me in on that.
Will do bud
Hi. I have a U Force 1000 xl. With stock tires. It’s normal use, normal trials and some sand with some dunes. Which kit do you recommend?? Stage 1, 2 or 3???? Please help me.
@@carlosmoltini7058 honestly I’d go with a stage 1 personally.
Great video, thanks for the info.
I'm glad you found it helpful!
Very true about the comparison for XMR. However FYI, in other models (such as XT) there are MORE differences between the 850 & 1000R, such as sway bars, 4-LOK and the number of brakes, etc.
The fake 850 is $1600 MSRP less than the 1000, the RVS tune is $1200 lol. Is the cooling system smaller on the 850? They say it is on every review I've seen. Not sure on XMR though. The RVS 1000 tune is a claimed 8hp and 25 for the smaller 1000. The G3 XT and XTP are brochure listed dry weight 149 pounds heavier than G2. That's alot. Xmr brochure says N/A lol. 3rd parties are showing 100 pounds heavier than G2 xmr at 990. After the rvs tune you are now ahead $400 bucks over the 1000, missing possibly smaller radiator/cooling system correct me if I'm wrong
Ok let’s break it down step by step. The radiator and fans are identical. The 850 does have breaks on all 4 corners “I’m not sure why some sites showed only a single rear brake.” I actually spent an hour and a half getting a print out of a full part list everything was the same besides the fly weights in the clutch. Now as for the other models I can’t answer that if some parts are different. But as to the xmr their identical machines besides tune and fly weights and the handle bars and the accent lights. Now as to the weight I used can am spec sheets to show the weight differences. But using other models and brands the xmr is within 50-60 lbs and that’s comparing an xmr to average atvs. That’s why I made the point of the weights on both atvs
@mjmisadventures950 i wasn't sure of the xmr cooling system, i have an xtp but that 1000 is supposedly a better cooling system. Every review video I watched said they were different anyways. I think the XT 850 has 1 rear brake. They really stepped up the xmr this year. With The intermediate gears 25% lower and easy to swap out, and more shock travel in the rear at least. But just the cost of that tune is crazy and me myself I'd just shell out another $400. Plus then you need to change flyweights after
@ definitely understand that point of view and not saying anything is wrong with that. I looked at it knowing I was gonna tune and do the exhaust so to me it was a moot point also for some reason my dealer was willing to sell the 850 way cheaper I paid 13,250 for mine vs the full 16,599 so it was a big difference. I did go look at can am’s site and on the dps and it looks like the XT both get the single rear caliper. But for sure on the xmr they really stepped em up and are pretty much identical.
Cooling is the same on the XMR’s. It’s the other models that are different. So, when buying a 850 XMR or a 1000 XMR, it’s to 99.98% the very same machine, except for the weights in the clutch, that’s it. I have no idea how BRP went on about this. I guess they save more money this way than they lose by people not buying the 1000.
@ that’s correct they are identical beside the bars, mud strap, tune, accent lights, and clutch weights. It is surprising I figured they would drop the 850 and just make the 1k but it doesn’t seem to make much sense imo
Mike, the unit is gonna rock. You're gonna love it.
Awesome video Mike, very informative as always. You’ll love this machine more and more the more you ride it. I absolutely love my outlander XXC.
Nice unit. Looks like you all had a great time
Thanks! We definitely had a blast!
I agree with you about the 850/1000 The important thing is the V-Twin, I had the 650 V-Twin and it was a beast ! When the belly hits hard mud and those wheels are spinning in watery mud, you ain't moving out of there without help, even if a 1500cc existed, you're still stuck !! PS : Love the nose on it !!! Wow !!!!
I agree the 700 is a great platform but the v twin is just ignorant on the trails and has all the power ya need
Cfmoto parts availability?
cfmoto has a decent parts network. Also there is a few great parts shop "MSC or Curren rv Yeti performance and RNG" all can get parts pretty easily.
Great video , it answers a lot questions. You did a 100% fair comparison. I choose Vauhti as well. RNG product is good but the man himself is the reason I never buy from or support his business.
Why so? I've been considering a kit from him.
@@danbledsoe7582 He used to test for vauthti then he left and started selling kits and tunes , magically coming out with near identical products as vauhti shortly after he released new designs. No real proof but clutching and tunes were easy to copy so you be the judge. He childishly bashed his competitors products and even worse personal attacks on their character as they took the high road and never said a word . He was a professional at convincing his followers that the competitions products were trash and the people running MSC and Vauhti are out to get him and they are straight up evil. This is why I won’t do business with RNG
Same if you have to reiterate how honest you are every video how honest are you. I also feel MSC has a bigger budget and able to produce a better product. Just look at how the shops are kept between the two.
@@NotBadExcavating Exactly. Big red flag.
Can’t believe you went to the DARK side 😂. Super nice bike. Congrats on the boy.🎉 Good to see you back on TH-cam
@@MisfitMoto2024 we’re not leaving the cfmoto world just yet. But I wanted to try something new so figured why not. I gotta say it’s impressive.
@ definitely a nice unit. We got to demo some at an expo and they are nice. Biggest thing I don’t like is the key lol. But it’s a powerhouse
@ the key is a pain I’ll admit but now that I’ve used it for the day it doesn’t really bother me anymore
Hey thats pretty nice. You know, when I was a kid in the early 80s they had 3-wheelers, and if you really dreamed big, 4 wheelers! Believe me, the were nothing like these modern 1000s. I have a car that weighs less than your new quad-- Seriously. I guess its true of everything these days. Compare a 70s pickup truck to a modern truck. The hood on an older truck is rib-height, while a new one eye level. Been thinking of getting a quad but I just got a Segway UT10 Crew that I need to upgrade. Only one toy per year is the rule for me ;o) Last year was a new horse. So you made a big reveal of your new machine but never really said why you picked that model other than you werent' going to pay 2K for red springs. Why not some other brand entirely, or a smaller, lighter machine? I'm always keen to hear what people think of the latest models.
First of all congrats on the new baby. It's been a while since a video. Happy videos!!
On these rigs, 0-60 is sort of pointless. Maybe a 0-45 or 0-50.
Kinda agree but then again it was to just show what it was capable of doing. Also it was an easy test to setup and show the difference in the helix and how they performed
Get ready to upgrade, this as very helpful
Glad it helped some. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask.
Hello from France.. nice unbiased videos. (You aren't trying to sell something) and good information.. I have a Polaris Scrambler 1000XP and its a money pit. I will be buying a gen 3 Cforce 1000 as soon as its sold... I think in a few years CFMOTO will overtake Polaris and Can-Am to become the world's no1 premier ATV/SXS brand..
I have one of these it's nowhere near 500 watts probably not even 100. I'm about ready to tear mine apart and change the amp and speakers, not happy with it at all.
The bolts that go through the block and bracket are almost a half inch too long. Am I doing something wrong?
No they should just thread through and they will pass through the rear of the block. What are you mounting it to?
Michelle Crossroad
I came here for the lies
What did I say that was a lie?
hello, what really bothers me about my current buggy (but they all have this) is the noise, which of course comes from the high rpm we make. Will this now be greatly reduced,? I think it will consume less in any case 🤔
From what I’m seeing from the maverick R is it’s far quieter and doesn’t have near as much parasitic loss as the cvt does. But time will tell. I’m still waiting to learn more about them but their being very quite about any new info.
I have a 2023 uforce 600 with 50 hrs on it , it’s really jerky off the start and at low speeds I’ve notice a clanking sound. Took it into my dealer and they told me it’s the clutch and it’s normal. They told me to run it in work mode. I don’t run it fast very often, just use it for hunting so usually in low range. Sure doesn’t sound normal to me. What would you suggest?
Hey, so the clutch could be wearing in and it’s just starting to wear in the sliders or it could be the spring is loosing some of it tension. The clutch springs are a wearable item so it could possibly be that. But fortunately it’s an easy fix most stage 1 clutch kits “primary springs” are very easy to swap out. They are probably using the work mode as a bs fix to slow down the throttle to make it less noticeable. But my strongest guess is the spring is loosing its tension and just softening up “that is normal with the stock cv tech springs” but an msc stage 1 will fix it and make it a bit smoother. And give ya a little more power back and will last a long time. Hope this helps ya out bud have a great day.
What the RNG helix a srm3?? Great info, thanks
@@michaelseaford8899 what do you mean? Was it the srm3? If that’s the question it’s the srm1 as rng stated it was the closest to the trail helix that msc offers.
So if i run a stage one an re clock the secondary to b3 wht does tht do?
So a stage one clocked to b3 will give more off the line punch but your putting the spring under more pressure. It will also take away some of your top end as well.
@@mjmisadventures950 thanks for the info 73 on top end now i think if i loose a few it will be ok lol shes a bit unstaedy lol but i go slower on ruff trails so tht mite help me our
MSc says stage 3 trail kit is for stock size tires?
No that would be a stage 1 or their stock performance package. You can buy a stage 3 and just hold off using the secondary till you run a larger tire.
Just saw the video. I just purchased a 950 trail. Selling my UForce 800. I was looking at clutch kits from MSC when I found your channel. Great information thanks.
How did you get that MSC washer out?
I used a small 90 degree pick and it popped out pretty easily
Awesome info, do you have a list of the PVC angle fittings you used, and possibly a shot of how you routed the CVT exhaust under the air box?
Shoot me a message on facebook and when I get home tomorrow I can get you everything
Belt temp aside, seems like RNG is clearly the winner with Primary Stage 1 with regard to smoothness. What would you think about a setup using RNG Stage 1 and MSC Stage 2 & 3?? Can you mix and match like that? (MSC Stage 1 does not take out the jerk in low range for farm work / plowing).
Rng only wins in my testing in smoothness in takeoff. I know a guy who did use an msc secondary and helix and an rng primary and it was so uncontrollable he immediately pulled it out. So I’d strongly advise not to mix and match them. As for the takeoff the msc kit does take some of it out but there’s a small amount of that clunk but nowhere near as bad.
Hi ,I installed the stage 3 trail to my 1000 overland n lost 7 k per hr on top end .
It makes sense but after a few rides you will get a little bit of it back. I lost about 5mph off my top end so yours is about the same as mine. Unfortunately with any cvt it’s all give and take you get more down low or more top end.
Thanks!
Thanks for the text hopefully both companies can gain good information from your tests
I hope so too
With the stage 1, apart from smoother take-offs and lowering belt temps (i assume lower engine rpm too?) does the stage 1 increase or lower the top speed of tje vehicle?
Long of the short you will sacrifice top speed but you gain way more bottom end. If you ride 60 mph and under it’s a great option. But if you watch my stage 3 comparison I break everything down at the end of the video. I have a stage 3 trail kit and still get 74mph but if you want to keep your top end look at their stock performance plus kit
I wish Duraclutch made one for CF Moto machines. I has one on a 2017 Ranger XP1000 I had and it was worth the $ and then some.
Lose the music
I get it but I have the ability to use it and with all the other background music I would’ve had a copyright issue.
It’s awesome you’re getting close to 1000 subs. 🤘🏻I know how much work and time it takes. 💪
We’re trying man.
Man, you guys did good. I thought you were gonna get free for a second. Jamon did good. Needs about 50 lbs to make it really dance. Lol. Great video 💯. I enjoyed it.
Great video buddy. Glad to help out with the camper. I’m not bad for a can-am guy 🤣😂. Seriously though, thanks for the invite. We had an awesome time until I lost my bag lol.
I want to put a stage 3 on my cf moto cforce x1000 but idk if it's worth the money to do that 🤔
What’s your setup?
I believe you said Pennsylvania ? Thats where im from , central Pennsylvania , the Pennsylvania Cfmoto Facebook group page i started February 2016 to help others learn about the brand because back then very little info on Cfmotos then , was 1 Facebook group page , maybe 3 or 4 youtube videos about them well Feb 2022 i gave it up and transferred it to Cfmoto Usa parts - Josh and Zach Curren at Curren Rv which ive known from the Cfmoto group pages since 2018 and i gave it to them so they admin it and i still help Moderate it some when i have time but thats about it for me now , i use to Admin 6 of the Cfmoto group pages including the Zforce 950 page up until MSC took it over so Fall of 2022 , sometimes i miss it all but ive got a lot more free time now and i dont have to deal with all the drama that was going on for quite a while that got old quick , im still just a member on a few but not online very often but i love all 3 of my Cfmotos , my 1st one a 2016 Zforce 800 trail model i had some issues but My dealer and Cfmoto handled it very well , so i ended up buying the 1st Z950 August 2020 that hit my dealer and im good friend's with him so he left me have 1st dibs on it so i got it , its been a amazing machine , everything mechanically is still original , including wheel bearings , 1800 Miles ,i dont go in much mud honestly and if i do its usaally no more then 8 inches deep , same with water , original throttle pedal was recalled about 2 weeks after i bought it but mine never had a issue , they still replaced it but its been one of the best machines ive onwed and ive owned quite a few brands , September 2020 we bought our 2021 Cforce 500 and its been problem free and almost 1800 miles , original wheel bearings , axles and all. I would buy a 4th Cfmoto without hesitation , the newest models are very impressive , they look awesome.. Good video
We’re from down by the chambersburg area. But we like to ride aoaa and a few others we have plans to visit soon
I added a spare tire, fuel and water tanks and about 40lbs of tools and equipment to my 2022 Zforce 950 HO Sport and lost almost 2" of clearance. I adjusted the preload to get some of the height back but didn't get it all back and the springs are compressed too much now and I don't have much travel. Is there a place to get all new springs with higher tension to compensate for my load?
There are three main options. The first is a set of elkas. They’re expensive but can be ordered to handle the weight your hauling. Next would be a set of bandit tender springs. A little cheaper but not amazing. Last option a few guys have been using rzr 1000 springs and swapping them over and they have had pretty good luck but I’ve never tested it.
@@mjmisadventures950 Thank you very much for these options. I was going to start with the Bandit's but I think now I'll start with the RZR 1000 springs and if that doesn't work go right to the Elkas. Not familiar with them, what do I search for?

Well done. I just ended up sticking a 90 into the cvt outlet. Clamp it and ran silicone around the pipes to give it a good water tight seal. Im also considering turning the air intake and cvt intake around for much better airflow into the intakes.
I agree if I didn’t have the tips laying around I probably would have just done a 3 inch pipe tbh all the way up but using the sya kit it forced me to go down to the 2 inch pipe
