The video was taken from two sources which I then synched up to 1 full episode. The audio from one of the sources was too distorted, so I synched the episode into the audio from the other source that was clear. Please excuse the video quality throughout parts of this episode. This was one of my favourite episodes growing up and appears to be rare so I was happy when I finally found it on TH-cam...

Before Emanupunk played shows at least twice a year, we held a sneak preview show in a basement with our close friends only. We initially planned to play 8 songs but then ended up playing a few more. This was one of the songs NOT planned in this original set!

In honour of its 3rd anniversary today, I present to you 2 snippets of those tracks performed during that performance. It would turn out to be the last music performance I saw in person before the COVID-19 lockdown took place!

The opening riff was from a demo Matthew Feldman sent me and it inspired me to write one of the most personal songs I've ever created. The title of the song itself came from an Instagram hashtag that Lars Ulrich (Metallica drummer) used in the majority of his posts. 5 years ago today, Emanupunk played their last show as the original lineup. Coincidentally, Blink-182's "Take Off Your Pants & Jacket" happened to be released on this day in 2001. In the middle of our set, we decided to cover "First Date" to coincide with that anniversary

I stopped Trick-or-Treating at 16... but not for maturity, for reasoning. -Why bust my feet and my back going around int he cold night to get a bag full of stuff I mostly wouldn't eat (I can get a whole box of candy I WILL eat for just 5 dollars) -It's so much more fun to stay home, deck the place up, pull a few scary tricks, and earn your tittle "KING OF THE BLOCK"

Steven Leszner I don’t unfortunately. I remember some of the Ping Pong episode though. Pru had some frustration while playing at first. I think she wore her glasses too.
