May you never be caught in the cycle of perpetuating the reality of the environment coddling someone out of their uncontrollable fits of emotion. Whether you are able to outright rebel or you are having to almost camouflage your way through it, I feel you. Whatever you do, don't pass it on. As long as you are safe to, say no. Do not settle. So true. It’s really weird when they are nice but than show snaps of jealousy every now and then. That is the most confusing relationships
There is definitely beauty in shutting tf up! What a word girl! Wild this video popped up at this time, because I have been weighing my exhaustion just anticipating having to deal with a difficult person. and it's simply not worth putting myself in a position to deny my character and act out just to match the reactivity. Thank you for the sweet words, but I’d like to add to what you’ve said if it’s okay! It is liberating to speak up for yourself, as long as you’re respectful… but it also becomes unhealthy when you put yourself in a position to keep speaking up for what you need to those that blatantly do not care instead of walking away. (At least as much as you can walk away depending on the circumstances.) Then it just becomes settling loudly and going through unnecessary hurt on top of what you feel. I can only really speak on that bit since the rest is vague and I don’t want to overstep. Thank you for your prayers, I’ve been in your shoes already though and realized how detrimental it can be so I made the hard choice to completely tear myself apart to rebuild into something better. I hope you know that you can too! :) 🖤

Thank you! These people are stuck at one end of the scales of life. Using their free will as a weapon. Parasitic in nature, craving a host that will provide even a sliver of energy to be able to feed because they can’t/don’t want to do it themselves. The sad reality of the necessary opposing force in life. I’m grateful for it in a very odd way, I dislike people like that, but if you look at those encounters beyond finding offense; you’ll see things that you need to see through them 🫶🏼

this whole weekend, i have been putting the way i spend my time in perspective. i've been working on cutting down the amount of time i'm on my phone, because i was upset at how much time i was sinking into instagram and reddit. my ultimate goal is to transition to a modernized flip phone, buy an MP3 player, read more, crochet more, *create* more... instead of wasting all my time on my phone. i've never really focused on how *i've* felt before. this video was a wakeup call for me; i need to start saying "no" more. i will never know true peace until i prioritize my best interests, my comfort, my success, instead of dedicating myself towards propping everyone else up. this was pretty rambly. i really could go on and on. our time has never been so important, and with everyone and everything vying for our attention, it gets really overwhelming. i hope you have a good night <3.

I have learned to accept what ever it is I feel as " It is what it is." Also to take the feelings as overthinking. I find it good to take several deep breaths and entirely focus on the present moment. One thing I have learned is to never be in the future. Always be in the present no matter the circumstances.

@@A.HWasRight I feel this heavily. The goal isn’t to be happy constantly, that would just be a bunch of toxic positivity and perfectionism. It’s so very hard out here in terms of societal constraints, personal restrictions in life, etc. My goal personally is to try my best to not make things any harder for myself through the hardships. Trying my best to implement some good into this experience even when I can’t find any, try to make it myself. That will look very different for everyone and it’s much easier said than done. Manifesting and all of the glorified western beliefs of ways towards gravitating onto better only go so far. It’s okay to be having a hard time. It’s okay to not be happy and to be feeling overwhelmed. I just hope you’ll be kind to yourself and others through it

@@AnhedonicButterfly thank you so much! And I agree to an extent, there must be balance for us to recognize and realistically distinguish between humanity and what opposes it. Hot wouldn’t be hot without cold. So on and so forth. The scales of life must have both ends and everything in between. Some have the potential to be beautiful souls but choose to tarnish themselves and others knowingly or unknowingly. Some are just empty shells that act as examples and walking lessons. It may sound grim but I don’t think we’re all supposed to find it, that would be a bit too perfect for beings with free will
