Kolk’s Pinball
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 23 ส.ค. 2006
Just a page for me to make longer pinball videos, and share some the games that I fix, trade, change my mind weekly about, and always looking to try out new ones. My main page is on Facebook.
KJS Sword mod update, fixing stuck balls.
Just showing what I made, to permanently fix, or minimize the stuck balls I’m getting. While it is rare that I get a stuck ball in the first place, hopefully this makes it even less.

Introducing Pulp Fiction Pinball
มุมมอง 11812 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Newest kid on the block, Pulp Fiction by Chicago Gaming. What a great game. I’ve only had it for a couple days, but I can easily see this one staying awhile.
Repinning pinball connectors.

Basic quick overview of how to repin a connector. For this demonstration, I’m using rectifier plug from a early SS Bally/Stern with the .156 pins
Playboy Restoration, Introduction

Just a quick into to the plans for this game. Overall, playfield swap with almost everything new, stencil kit the cab, repin/replace connectors, new legs, new displays, inside and outside rails, you name it.
My Personal Gottlieb Genesis, update.
มุมมอง 71หลายเดือนก่อน
Genesis is done, so just a little overview of what all went into it. It already had a bunch of normal must haves for this era like all the grounding mods, nvram, cliffys, so on.
Bally Paragon, the next quick project.
มุมมอง 156หลายเดือนก่อน
Just needs shopped at this point. Got it on trade this morning, already swapped displays and been adjusting some switches. Just needs rubbers, and rebuild the flippers, and I think it’s ready for its next home.
Stranger Things Pro

Just doing a quick game before it leaves, great game, I’d like to the premium version in the future.
Hi-tapping flippers on a Gorgar. Just showing results.

Redid the transformer for 105V. Do this at your own risk, I’m not gonna show you how. But I’ve done it on a couple of my personal machines, and love it. I will put it back to normal before it’s for sale.
Pinbot is done. Well, on my end…

Super rare now
Estimated about 150 were actually made, mines labeled #247. I started a number tracker on pinside, kinda see where they went to across the world. And so far we have managed to find 2 of them marked #170, and neither of those have the green plastics, and have red flipper rubber... kinda odd.
@@Kolks_Pinball yeah. Not a bad idea with the tracker. Still a really cool game.
PERFECT STATE
Nice! Which one is your favorite?
@@jaxson3887 well the line up changes almost weekly lol. Right now I have: BKSOR Pulp Fiction Haggis Fathom TNA Galaxy Meteor Genesis Comet Lost World Stellar Wars. I don’t see TNA or Black Knight ever going anywhere. I just got Pulp Fiction, and I bet it stays around for a LONG time.
Thanks for sharing
Wow, cool machine!
Looks amazing!
Beautiful pin!
bally williams group
@@andreadibitonto6709 it’s on there. Thanks.
You shoulda shook the machine left-right, mate, whence your bonus is under 3K, and the ball's about to drain between flippers. I've done this trick many times as I'm the "pinball devil".
Unless its a game like Fathom or Comet where the inlane drains unless you bounce it off the post, I never really nudge. Im not that worried about it. Ill do it at league sometimes but very little. Im just there to hang out and fun, doesnt bother me if I come in last. lol
One of my favorite pinball machines 👍
Hey nice. I never noticed that lock cylinder at the top of the display on mine.
The 2 door latches on the right? I have a lot of games that only have 1.
Nice dude i want one colors are so amazing looking 😍😍😍😍😍 5 star looker
This game kinda reminds me of another Brian Eddy classic Attack from Mars. The main alien creature is the large UFO target in the center of the playfield and just like Stanger Things you have to hit the target(s) to bring it down in front of the toy in order to attack it. Just like AFM you don't want to hit it dead center because it can cause the ball to drain right down the middle. However, the pin is a blast to play like I'm sure Stranger Things is. Thanks for posting these videos.
Awesome, great video. Just researching popular machines for my first expo. Thank you!
Are those bally flipper bats?
Those were Bally flippers during the video yes. At the time when I was rebuilding and testing to see if this idea would work, those were the only new ones I had laying around.
Went ahead and made an updated video, thanks for reminding me. lol
Thanks for the tips on this one! my Scooby CE should be here Wednesday (: such a beautiful pin!
The ring makes the orb sooo much better, incorporating more light where it needs to be. Good job!
One last question. Are you trading to get another pin? Did the gameplay wear thin on you? I sold mine too, but if I had the room I would have kept it because I love the gameplay and the soundtrack. Plus, you can never get tired of Groot yelling at you for starting his multiball. LOL
The plan was to always trade it. But originally I was going to keep it about 2 months. But another pin that I like more was posted for trade with only 60 plays (same as guardians) so I kinda figured I need to jump on it. So we are working on those details now. Not set in stone yet, he was waiting to hear back from a guy with a theater of magic that he wants more than Guardians.
GOTG is a great pin. Seriously, it has (3) toys to shoot at and the gameplay really incorporates the feel of the movie. I think the pro version is the best bang for the buck IMO. Thanks for posting these videos!
Badass, looks like a great game man
You are doing the Lord's work 🤯
Looking forward to seeing this. I have a Pinbot if you need reference.
It did get put on hold the last 2 weeks kinda. The harness we had was not for this game, he ordered another used one, it was also wrong. So ive only done some basic tear down, and cleaning at this point. The posts were soaked in wax build up, under the visor and red spiral ramp was filled with mouse nests, so ive just been cleaning, waxing, those areas, cleaning out the insides of the lamp sockets, so on. I did a basic photo update on my facebook page, just showing the mess, and one area ive finished. At this point is looks like im just going to be repinning what I can, and then making the rest of a new harness. Hes coming over this weekend to get a little hands on with it, and make another parts list, so on. Oh, also the displays were obviously the wrong ones, so we have a set of Wolfpacs here that need built now too.
I love The Highs keys in th3 sound FX.Intense Action
I like the Vibe of this Board
Be careful with all that UV light, most of those cheaper/affordable black/UV lights you buy online are using unsafe wavelengths that cause serious, serious harm to your health. You are only supposed to be exposed to safe wavelengths for short periods of time in your life. If you have yours exposed like this and run them regularly then you may want to look into the type of wavelength your units use. You may be fine, or you may be exposing yourself, your family and your guests to harm.
Great collection
Thanks, just need room for 10 more lol
Comet is a must for meteor 🥸
Lot of work but should come out nice
Too bad no background sound design. 79 playing this
Theres actually 35 or 36 to choose from, not sure if they speed up or get higher pitched like gorgar or meteor, but there are a bunch in the menu settings.
@@Kolks_Pinball ok didn't realize that
@@garrymiller8031 im curious though, I am going to try it tonight, to see they change pitch and speed.
@@garrymiller8031 ok so I did test it. The sounds do get higher pitched and speed up similar to Gorgar’s heartbeat. But, after testing about 10 of them, I won’t be leaving any of them on. They are repeated tones just stolen from random switches that I’ve found so far.
@@Kolks_Pinball awesome
Lazar ball wide body
I like venom. It gets some hate but I like the leveling up system and unlocking characters.
I didnt like it on location, but at home, and playing it a lot more, its really grown on me. But, its still in the "trade" spot of my room, and ill be looking for something else to try shortly.
METEOR! My first pin. Great set up! 🕹️💪
I remember playing Bally's Lost World by the hour, back when it came out. In a bowling alley in Vancouver, Canada. Loved that era of Bally games.
Nice set up man! When you take video turn phone to side so you can fill screen & keep it to the side til your finished. I subbed & kit!
Issue is, I only use youtube for my facebook page, and I feel that if im on facebook, im not turning my phone sideways, so vertical is better. Also, when im doing videos of game play, it needs to be vertical for taller shots. Since im not editing these at all, im not sure how to make it perfect for both. Maybe ill try some more horizontal stuff this weekend and see how it works out.
Great Room you have there my friend... Absolutely love the carpet/rug - now if only I had the room to do something similar (and the money LOL).
Likewise Ginger. Ive wanted that rug & I think it's time for it. Tax money is already spent! Kit!
Niiiiice room! The carpet really ties it together. Good job!
Thanks, its actually rugs from Joy Carpets. I do need to pull it all up and buy their actual carpet though. when rolling pinball machines around sometimes ill get a wrinkle.
Thanks for posting this video. You showed me a lot of things, especially on how to obtain a multiball. I had no idea on how to get that Captain Cutler Multiball. This one was my fist Spooky pin and I'm really impressed with all of the goodies Spooky includes on their collector's edition at a lower price than what Stern charges for their LEs. Thanks again!
Glad I could help. Im not a great player so the deeper code I cant usually help with, but Im a decent casual player. lol Glad youre liking it, I also have a TNA and love it. The only MOD id suggest, is look into getting the plunger plate a guy sells that ties the 2 prongs together for the plunger. Works a lot better now. Hes in the scooby group on pinside. let me know if you need more help than that and I can try and find my order with his user name on it.
I miss the day when I could pick up a non working system80 for like 400 500 bucks and bring it back to life. Genesis has eluded me so far. I think as far as 80s gottliebs I've had a Gold Wings, Hollywood Heat and a Diamond Lady.
I havent been into pinball that long. Just a little over a year, and Ive had 33 so far, but even I feel like the last several months I havent been able to find anything. Even when I first started I was able to pick up a lot of broken stuff for under $500, and feel like I passed up a lot of them. Ive had a couple EM Gottliebs, but this was my first SS ive worked on. Really liked it, and if I ever seen one within 5 hours of St Louis ill probably pick it up if I can swing it.
Looks brand new.
well, it kinda is lol. On the top of the playfield the only parts reused are the red targets, the spinner, and the apron at this point. If somebody offered a new apron id probably pick one up, but its in really nice shape. I do need to print new cards, and have them say my game settings though.
My brother, I am #1101 - see you on Pinside (StacksOT)
Nice. I think they contacted me around Oct 12th (Thursday) saying it was done, but closed Friday. So I did the 5 hour drive and was there before they opened on Monday morning. lol
Well to add on this, I did end up trading my Deadpool to get an Iron Maiden back into my lineup. Check my facebook page for updates on it. It now has more toys, gel inserts, custom translite, and other new mods, since I dont see it going anywhere any time soon.
Beautiful machine. Wow.
How much did this go for?
It sold same day for $1500. Id kinda like to find another one. It was a fun game.
@@Kolks_Pinball there is one for $900 locally to me, is it a hard game to work on?
@@drasticmart All Early SS games are about the same, fairly simple. Nothing dramatically different at all. Main MPU, Solenoid driver board, Lamp board, sound board, and a rectifier board. Besides that, on this era of williams, I dont like the original horse shoe drop targets at all. They sell magnetic switch upgrades that I do on all of them that are amazing. Those will need some wiring redone on the backside, but they provide diagrams on where to solder each wire. If the playfield is in decent enough shape for you, Id pick it up. Everything else can be replace pretty easy.
@@Kolks_Pinball that’s great I really appreciate the info!!
