Great call out! There are best practices around security, utilizing modern encryption standards, and principles like least privilege, rotating keys, etc that we work hard to follow. Additionally, many manufacturers support, implement, and reinforce existing and upcoming BLE standards like iBeacon, Eddystone, FMDN, etc. The industry is definitely changing!
