You know I'm going to be a bit ranty and sentimental about this but the Sonic.exe mod really has impacted the FNF community in both a positive and negative way and how at first some of us really didn't know what was boiling underneath the whole mod that was yet to come flooding out from 2021-2023. When the mod first released everyone was like "no way someone made an FNF mod based off of that shitty creepypasta that was made back in 2011" and this was like big for when it came out and what it did for V1.0 when it was released in 2021. Then V1.5 came out and it was for what's to come in the future of the mod and we all had our hopes up for it. So V2.0 released, and it made a huge impact than what its 1.0 and 1.5 predecessors did and broke new territory for what was the norm for the mod itself and the future of FNF modding. But after that the devs said that there's going to be a few more versions of the mod to come out soon in the future and it got to hype up the community again for 2.5 - 3.0 and all was well until... The Revie/Raven (Raven is the new name that Revie goes under now. Which is going to be explained a bit later here.) controversy that happened at the end of 2021(December of that year), and we all believed them that Revie was a "pedo" and such and we all moved on. So, the mod gets a bit tainted by that controversy and Faker gets removed during all that and he gets replaced around that time as well. When everyone heard of all that stuff that had happened, we all got sad about Faker being replaced and Revie leaving the internet for a long time. Everything for the mod is going smoothly but. over the course of 2022 leaks of the mod were going around yt and other places that it was pretty much out of hand due to how many people there were (Note: I think there was like 60 or 50 people in it with them adding in way too many characters and exes no one ever heard of before the mod and the leaks were around and to the public's knowledge of it in 2022.), Rightburst ended up leaving the team and gave ownership of the mod to Marstarbro, and the drama that was about to begin in the summer of that year. So, now the exe mod goes into drama again but this time it was about Revie again and how she was innocent, and she was framed. Now everyone hears about it, and it splits the community up into saying that Revie was innocent or someone saying that she was "pedo" and that's all thanks to Large Lenny and Game Reel on showing some surface level evidence of what had happened behind the scenes of the mod during the 2.0 development. And thus, the whole downward spiral of the mod comes in. And after this some of the dev either left the internet for good or are still around but learned from their old ways and changed like Marstarbro and a few others (Also to note here is that the exe mod gets cancelled when Game Reel made his video about the Revie drama and whatnot and people were trying to do revival mods of the original mod that it got out of hand as well and leaks for the mod were still going around the time as well which shows you how big and overloaded the mod got.). And around December of 2022 the downfall of the mod and developers of vs sonic.exe are set in stone with Toastify making a whole video on the Revie situation and everything almost wrapping up and Game Reel putting down the final nail in the coffin in January 2023 and exposing how terrible these people were when they cancelled Revie in the first place due to how Rightburst was jealous of Revie and how she took the director role away from me type shit, And the others just trying to do all sorts of terrible things to Revie and getting blackmailed as well. Looking back on all of this though I'm glad we all moved on from this and Revie being proved innocent and coming back as Raven. Sonic.exe now in the grave never to be seen again. Honestly, all this time I've just thought of exe as some edgy hedgehog who's so full of himself he genuinely thinks he can take on god and win. But with how this is going, I'm actually feeling kinda bad for him, he was just doing what he does best, the ONLY thing he's ever known, and some twink comes along and completely decimates him, taking away EVERYTHING. Actually, the same thing's happened to most old creepypastas and urban legends, they used to be FEARED, they used to be SCARY, but now they're just some dumb little thing from the old internet that kids read and think they're hardened vets. Which Is why I propose an idea. A creepypasta remaster, going back and rewriting all the old creepypasta's with proper writing, instead of just relying on the passion they we're made with, and maybe they can actually become something scary, instead of the fun little side project they always were.

To BF, Xeno was just another run-of-the-mill horrorbrew, not even the first of the many kooky-spooky cursed/possessed video game characters he's faced. To Xeno, BF is the one who ruined his whole life, just by doing what he did best: beeping at people, refusing to elaborate, and fucking right back off to whence he came His infamy and fear factor are gone, and his power with it, and without THAT, the Souls had no reason to stick around. Xeno's domain lies empty and in ruins, and he himself is a laughingstock amongst his kind. He. Lost. EVERYTHING. To a prick who dropped out of COMMUNITY COLLEGE. And he can't even take revenge. The cyanette is out of reach, and his girlfriend was able to overpower Xeno even BEFORE everything came crashing down. All he can do is fantasize about getting back at those runts, stare at a damn cardboard cut-out Majin sent him just to fuck with him... ...and quietly admit to himself that he deserves all of this after all the shit he's done, the torture, the death, the pain. It's his karma for being such a monster.

This definitely invokes some sad emotions, with Xeno realizing his glory is gone. ...Hell, I even wrote lyrics for it. Lyrics that I'm probably gonna keep to myself, since I'm not a great writer.

Man... It has been this long? This mod is still cool to me (heck, I still even play it as well). I'm just still sad of how it got cancelled and now it is an unfinished project of the mod. He's one of the legends now, and I'll always still remember him and this mod. He's a legend creepypasta buddy. 👍

Honestly this makes me think of how overtime of how xeno is treated and perceived Being the main villian in the mod to slowly leading up to be hated treated as a joke by most fan videos along with being banned from fnf mods one time and being treated like a bane to fnf along with the mod in general And now he's kinda underrated atleast to me compared to like 2011 x and other's along This was just what i thought so sorry if anything's wrong just wanted to give put what i thought about how xeno was treated by the fnf community

This song really evokes my mixed feelings of Sonic.exe as a whole.

I honestly feel bad for Xeno, because for as much trash talk as I, and plenty of others have given him, I don't think it was entirely his fault that he came out as a poor character. I blame Rightburst for pretty much watering him down to a pathetic childish nuisance that could've been FAR more interesting had he been put in the right hands

Three years later. Look what became of you. Your legacy abandoned, your life in ruins. You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you? Edginess aside, HOLY FUCK the music is amazing here. BFs voice faintly audible in one section makes me think of how Xeno is remembering the past, the good times, his hollow notes in an empty void all that remain, singing to a cardboard cutout, and don't get me started on the opening post, the contrast between the two. He was so eager back then, now he's depressed, knowing his glory days are behind him, he can't have what he lost, his fate handed to him like a milk carton to the face. In short, and without me retyping this to try and convey the feeling I feel (emotions are hard, sue me [don't actually pls]), It ties together with everything perfectly.
