We at St. Boniface in Fort Smith, Ar have three bells, two of which haven't worked in quite some. It seems like there was always something more urgent that needed to be fixed. Our ladies craft group took on the project of raising money to Bring Back The Bells. They have been fixed and what a joyous sound they make with all three working. Just beautiful.

All parishes should have bells.

With some experience with bells at St. Andrew's Cathedral. My self and the rest of the committee pushed for a new steel frame because of the wood frame was not safe for pealing bells. They swing today, and sound great! There is nothing like bells swinging verses tied down bells that have electric strikers. My 2 cents. I live in the west side by Walker Ave and Pine and could hear the bells from there on a quiet morning. I hope to hear them again!!
