I love how in the BTS for this Kevin and Nico and had nothing but respect from the Babymetal ladies. It was cool how the girls, who normally have strict choreo, got to cut loose a bit with the guys and inversely, the guys who are normally pretty laid back tried to meet them half way by learning some of the choreo that they did. And the fact it was a true 50/50 collab is just amazing. I love that this song was a massive hit for all of them.

If you like listening to bands that tell a story through their music, you should definitely check out The Warning. Their second album, Queen of the Murder Scene, is a concept album that tells the story of a woman that becomes infatuated with somebody that infatuation turns to obsession and ultimately to murder and madness. For your reaction, you should watch the 2018 Lunario CDMX concert. The story is broken down into a prologue and 4 chapters which could be done separately (if you want shorter reaction videos). Just know they do play songs from their previous album, XXI Century Blood, during the show so you would want to skip them. There are webpages that you can reference to get an understanding of the story as it unfolds song to song, which might be helpful to you.

If this is the most aggressive song about chocolate you've heard so far, then you definitely have to listen to Hanabie with the song We Love Sweets, the girls from Hanabie take it up a notch. As a goth, you should really like the live version of Babymetal Death (Legend 1997 concert) from Babymetal.

Many members of The One will say that this song isn't among BABYMETAL's best - I beg to differ. Although BABYMETAL does have many songs that are better, this song defines what BABYMETAL is: heavy metal pleasantly mixed with J-pop without missing a beat - kawaii metal at its best, and one of the best videos of the "Yui Era" (more on that later). Well, some of us are aware of what vocaloid means, because we know about Hatsune Miku, but also one of the song writers/arranger who regularly works with Babymetal is: Yuyoyuppe, he learned his craft making metal vocal music. 🙂

Great reaction! You wanna see something different from BABYMETAL? Just choose a different song 😉 There´s literally no song like "Gimme Chocolate!!" in their portfolio. "Awadama Fever", which also has a "candy" topic (it translates to "Bubble (Gum) Fever"), is totally different. Or "BABYMETAL DEATH". Different down to the extreme 🤣 (take the version from the "Legend 1997" concert, which is the concert the "Gimme Chocolate!!" video footage was taken from. The whole concert was a banger!!). With "BABYMETAL DEATH" you´ll get the "Kami Band" (East), consisting of session musicians, and the best ones you´ll find in Japan. They were amazing! If possible, always use live versions. Welcome back, great reaction. This is the video that went viral in 2014 and got them some attention just before they started touring internationally. The video was recorded at their Legend 1997 concert in December 2013 (Su-metal's 16th birthday celebration - she was born 1997), but the audio is from the studio recording. There was no point in showing the guitarist during the guitar solo for this one, the guys in skeleton suits (Babybones) were not playing. This was early in BABYMETAL's career as an independent band and they had to prove themselves before they got the funding for a live backing band. The Kami Band was being phased in for about 18 months, playing the encores in some shows. They did come on for the last 5 songs at Legend 1997 and they became the full time support from March 2014. ⚡ 💀 💕 / 🍫 💝 The whole concept of combining JPop with Metal could have been a disaster, but the quality of the singing, songwriting, choreography and staging take it to another level. 'Gimme Chocolate!!' is definitely one of their "poppier" tracks. They have been joined on stage for this song by members of Korn, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and DragonForce. Although not all at the same time. : ) The official music video for this song currently has almost 200 million views.

Chocolate is always aggressive. I don't know a huge amount about vocaloid, just that it's a voice synth software. And that many incredible producers and musicians make music with it. Wowaka was my favourite. Unknown Mother Goose is a great live song. Full band, real people. And I recognise a lot of the musicians they use as top tier, they work with everyone from pop, rock to jazz. Very high calibre. As for fever dream BM, the first album is very random and crazy juxtaposition. I prefer Metal Resistance, it was broad in scope but really sat within the various metal genre conventions. It's like a homage album. Live shows from that era show the band members. Later they stuck masks on them and shoved them back into the shadows. Typically if they are an "official" video it is studio audio over a live performance. Babymetal still perform this to this day and it always brings the crowd to their feet!

This was one of their first Hits. The shock value alone. Everyone firstblooks at it: I do not believe it. Show me that this is not real. Butbthe girls quickly adopted to their unusual style and the new and different kind of music. They learned fast how to control their crowd.
