i agree that MF has fallen off. I always knew that MF not being safeguarded would be her demise. If she gets oneshot at the beginning in this DCA meta, she brings less value to the team than just having snapdragon--- which is crazy. I think healers/supports need to be safeguarded or immortal in order to last in the meta. Also she provides literally no offensive buffs compared to cream ferret. shes specialized in defense but she gets oneshot... its rlly over for the mystic flour meta

It's always the same cycle of an insane cookie releasing, powercreeping the rest of the cookies in it's class, then slowly but surely falling off until a new broken cookie releases and powercreeps it. PV awakened is the cookie that's gonna powercreep healers next imo. Down the line they'll release cookies that powercreep Wind Archer lmfao.

This just make me wonder what kind of stupidity cracked buff devsis are going to give to awakened pv so he could overpower ferret and Star coral I remember the story pointing at how despite his healing power he can't revive the dead so imagine if he his awakened form kit had a built in feather in it ☠️

Here's my honest opinion: Mystics downfall was caused by many reasons 1. DPS: On her release , the best DPS was Blueberry Pie and Stormbringer , who did pretty good damage but nowadays , DPS'es already bypass 80% of all her DMG resist buffs and pairing with a good Drb beasc renders her useless , whereas back then you'd need a very good beascuit to bypass 80-90% of her DMG resist not including DMG resist substats from other sources. Nowadays DPS'es deal way too much damage leading to any cookie that is just normal not be meta. The Meta DPS'es Currently have Revive , Immortality , IFrames or Just Debuff Immunity and way too much DMG resist. 2. Mystic was never meant to be an offensive support rather just a bulky healer , with the addition of the DPS'es , it came to the point where you mostly didn't need to survive as you'd ko the opponent before they even got an attack off and with the introduction of SC and Ferret , they're decent healing and team sustain and offensive buffs made her useless and you didn't need to live like you did before. 3. Her getting massively nerfed when with Safeguards also hinders her , without that mechanic , Snecklace would most likely include her or just not exist but that's just my thought.

Even if the beast cookies annoy me to no end, I have to admit I find it hard to say that she’s fallen off. You’ll still find that she’s used in almost all but 2 arena teams, you’ll generally find that she’s on a team that’s used to complete an extremely challenging level and the rate at which she can heal is too much to be ignored, as to my knowledge, the only cookie who can outheal her (due to how her ability works) is Nutmeg Tiger Cookie, with cookies like Parfait Cookie, Pure Vanilla Cookie and MAYBE Cream Ferret Cookie not to far behind her. But let’s be fair here, especially in certain PvE sections, it’s a bit rigid to just limit yourself to what is considered “the best option” as there are many great healing cookies in the game (all the cookies in the thumbnail are just that) and being able to pick between many great characters adds an element of flavour and personality to the gameplay, that I honestly feel it desperately needs (but I suppose even if it does actually reinforce the idea that Mystic Flour Cookie has fallen off, one of the teams that I found can be used to clear 18-30 didn’t even have her as a healer on it, it was Cream Ferret Cookie (mostly for buffs), Pure Vanilla Cookie (to alleviate the injury) and Parfait Cookie (for debuff immunity and the MVP in terms of healing, but I think even then, if you just use Cream Puff Cookie and Parfait Cookie, they'd be enough for you to survive this level and win)). Overall, while I see people have been finding ways to get around d using her, based on what the majority of players seem to use, I think it’s fairly safe to say that Mystic Flour Cookie is far from falling from grace. Obviously take what I’ve said here with a pinch of salt since I’m yet to see the video, but yeah.
