Nice video! Thanks! I was just there recently for the first time after the remodel & was wondering if those alarms were still in use or if they had them set to strobe only and used speakers instead, now I know! Rant: I understand why the system is so old/primitive, the mall is pretty old and just had a huge remodel, so it looks nicer and newer than the structure actually is (opened in 1986). At the same time, you'd think that they would bring it up to new codes during the remodel while you have everything torn apart anyway... I'm also a little surprised that they weren't required to bring it up to (new) code. Now it could be significantly more expensive to replace the system should they need to... And the longer you use the existing system, the more problems you tend to have... They already have speakers throughout the mall playing music and whatnot. It wouldn't be that difficult to use those for a voice evac system and switch the alarms (horn strobes) to strobe only... Interesting to see how many people don't respond as well to a simple horn compared to a voice telling them to leave. With the way the mall is laid out, they should also probably zone the alarm so that it doesn't evacuate the entire mall all at once when it's not immediately necessary to help with crowd control. Pet peeve: They are using red exit signs, they really should use green exit signs for the area as it has a lot of tourist and immigrants who many not recognize red exit signs as well as green.

Y porque siendo una isla de habla hispana,caribeña en ves de decir centro de la ciudad ahora le dicen como los americanos Down town ,es como si repudiaran su idioma español o creen en sus mentes mediocres que se oye más americanizado,ni en Pieeto Rico que son americanos y el inglés es obligatorio le dicen a ningún centro de ciudad Down Town,ustedes se las hechas mucho que son una isla libre y soberana de colonización española ,de un tiempo para acá ponen calles de próceres americanos y ahora tienen un complejo de Down Town,estan desesperados por ser y pertenecer a USA más sin embargo Pueeto Rico que hace 118 años pertenecemos a EU estamos fuera de esos nombres americanos y somos americanos,pero hemos recobrado nuestra conciencia hispana y detestamos llamar Down Town a nuestras ciudades centrales,es más el puertorriqueño tiene un despertar patriota e hispánico y aquí se habla en puro español aunque todos los puertorriqueños hablan y entienden perfectamente el inglés estamos tratando de limpiar nuestro bello idioma el romántico y sutil, rspañol de claro y limpido raudal es la lengua que yo adoro la lengua de versos de oro y de vibración marcial,es dúctil como el metal y rica como un tesoro mi lengua español de versos de oro,y además antes de hablar inglés que no le cae deben interesarse en educarse y hablar mejor su español que bastante mal que lo hablan he dicho!

Where are the shoppers? It most definitely looks like a high end mall, but its mostly empty, only a few people walking who appear to be upper middle class, the rest not so sure.

Ese Bulevar, junto con el Bulevar de la 27, son de los absurdo arquitectónico y Anti tránsito que se ha hecho en la cuidad. Lo ideal es eliminar esos bulevar de esta avenida y el de la 27 de febrero, hacer varios carriles y ampliar las aceras norte y sur de ambas avenidas a 3 o 4 metros de anchos, arbolizar esas avenidas y sosterrar sus cables. Eso sí haría más estético y visible esas avenidas, ademas estarías creando condiciones idóneas Para que la gente caminen. Además esa ciclo vía ni siquiera se usa. En el caso de esta avenida, en lugar de crear dos o 3 carriles solo se crearía uno, para conservar el espacio para un futuro Tranvía en esa avenida.

Se ve bonita pero creo que podemos mejorar un más , así como también todas las ciudades de nuestro país los gobiernos deben de embellecer
