This reminds me of an old gene krupa phrase that gene played in the early fifties the snare that krupa used had a ring to it slinger land drums loved gene big time and ofcourse krupa endorsed slinger land back then it was only gene krupa and buddy rich that made heads turn now its mostly rock and heavy metal drummers with the same same same sound enough said

i really like it!! but theres just that interesting buzz or some sort of odd overtone coming from the rack tom.. maybe try tuning the batter and the reso a bit differently? like the reso a little higher or lower it could fix that odd sound.. maybe one of the lugs are out of tune?

Floor Tom has a gene Krupa sound that goy my attention

I would like to comment about the sound first and foremost the drummer who ever it may be is really is a victim of the sound engineer a good exam is the worlds greatest drummer buddy rich would insist on his sound technicians to get that perfect level of precision percussion and another comment musicians seem to over play drowning out the drumming

Why is when I go to see bands, the drummer never sounds this good. Not just amateur bands but the professionals too. I’m not just referring to technique, I’m referring to the TONE !!!

Woooow those shells are absolutely beautiful, I love the old pearl kits, I have a bastardised pearl set-up, 13x11" DX professional Mij, 22x16" Super Pro GLX Mij, both cherry or wine Red colour, I'm using with a Premier 16x16" XPK and Premier Signia Maple both also cherry wood coloured. Absolutely love the look and sound. Thanks for the videos. It's great to see and hear these classic drums.

Great channel, wow I have already seen some legendary drums from all the greats of drum building era's gone by. I love the old Luddys, I have a 62' Supra and 66" Acro that I absolutely love. No drums of the same make of that era, though, Yet! Again Great channel! Subbed!!
