The bank I work for let go of about 1/3 of our staff in our building secretly without notice. 😢 it was an awful day but they had to look out for their business and I was lucky to still be there and grateful to still have a job.

Me too! ✋🏻 best customer although I have a few people have been sweet enough to order from my website! ❤ and a few club people. One on my team. Some months I make my $200 and some I don’t. I wish they’d wouldn’t make it so hard since we purchase so much. 😢

You know what is most sad to me…. Look at all of the TH-cam influencers who show off Scentsy that they have made feel like they are insignificant and might quit…. That doesn’t speak well for a company that profits from us showing off their products…. I’m not sure that was the best choice they made. I’m happy I met you through them!! 😊❤ I’ll always be grateful for that blessing!!

I did a video a couple of days ago. Same thoughts. As a star director this is very hurtful to do to us.

I also agree that is important to not buy things you don’t need to leave for those who do. My biggest gripes are the 5% pay cut and losing the buy 5 get 1 free - just shows a lack of integrity and market savvy in my opinion. We’ll see how it goes. Thanks for your video!!

Edda, I loved this video! I am also an introvert and I agree with everything you said.. I’m my own best customer and that’s ok :). I cannot put myself out on social media or face to face and try and sell anything. Thanks for sharing :)

I wont completely walk away. I love scentsy product. But i think id rather be a consumer than a sales person. I would never tell anyone not to join. Its not my choice and not my decisions. I would rather support my friends and not sell. ❤

I still dont understand how you got turned in? So many people have clubs like that!? Karma is a fickle friend. But i can guess who turned you in. I dont watch that person anymore.

Edda I tried to move my club ro your name and it wont let me! I dont want my club to go to the lady that was my sponsor we dont even talk any more and she really screwed me over. Im not happy with all this and i cancled my PSW.

This just proves that they care less about the people with less sales/customers. You are obligated to spend a certain amount every month so the company is making the money from your purchases and like you said you can’t even sell the items…get out!

Enjoyed hearing your take! I too have always been upset I will never show in a search of a website I’m paying for. No way to convince me that is in any way fair. I like what you said about business in general, and Scentsy is no different. In every business only higher ups get the big bonuses. It’s why they accepted the job. A bookeeper can be more easily replaced than a great CFO. While it doesn’t mean that directly correlates with an MLM model, I see the point. By the time you get to Director status, you are mainly managing a team, not as much selling- though you do need to do the $500 to get paid at title.

I remember one time there was a 90% off flash sale & by the time I got in & put things in my shopping cart things were sold out. So, I kept on having to redo my cart. Finally there wasn't anything I wanted to make it worth my wild with the $10 s&h. I was upset I couldn't get anything. I felt like you, why couldn't they put a limit on how many per item. Today I went into the flash sale & got on before the time. When the wait thing comes up ( whatever you want to call it) a few mins before the time. I still had to wait over 30 mins. Not much was sold out. I don't know if it was the time they changed or they didn't tell consultants anything in the sale. Everything I purchased I only got 1 of. I did place an order over $100. This was my second order this month. I'm going to wait & see if how things go with Scentsy to see if I still want to be a customer.

I completely agree its a business. So with businesses your dollar speaks the loudest. If their bottom line goes down it will change what they do.

How many people did they take to Tahiti on a lavish vacation just a few weeks ago? That is a very expensive destination, yet they want to take away the 25% that was promised. One of the high up consultants who went to Bora Bora did a video supporting the changes and people (including me) went off on her! She took the video down.Talk about tone deaf!

You are absolutely correct. At the end of the day Scentsy is a MLM / business model. You either stay or go. It sucks but it’s a decision that we all have to make.

Did not expect to be going to church in the middle of this video. But so glad for it. 💕 Thank you for sharing. I’m in the same boat that I joined after years of being asked because I loooove hosting. And was encouraged I should be my own consultant. So I do have a small friend group and I still host but it’s because we have been purchasing and partying together for some of us 16 years. I think there's been a bit of misinformation being said regarding the PRV and I'm grateful to you for clarifying the correct information. Scentsy is indeed a business and will operate accordingly but what I have a problem with is the predatory nature of the double speak. Don't promote values you don't adhere to and don't make promises you can't keep. It's the old bait & switch. I saw a great quote the other day that said 'You can't ride two horses with one ass' So basically pick a lane Scentsy. Personally this is a moral issue for me and I've decided that I need to pick a lane as well. Either I'm all in or all out, and I'm out. I cannot be complicit in or contributing to a set of values (or lack thereof) that I do not support or believe in. Scentsy consultants were promised a 25% commission after reaching 1000prv for life. Not for now, not just until we arbitrarily decide otherwise, for LIFE. They're breaking not only a promise but a signed contract and that makes me question their values as a whole. If I continue on it's as good as saying I agree with that and I do not. Sure, we're all just tiny pieces on their chess board and when some fall off others will replace us but sometimes in life you have to make a stand. It may not affect the overall outcome but you can feel secure in knowing that you personally did the right thing. We as Christians make these decisions each and every day. Integrity matters so I will do what I feel is best based upon my own personal convictions and beliefs. That being said, I fully realize that everyone will see this situation in their own unique way. There will be no judgment on my part because we're all looking through a very different set of life experiences, personal belief systems and reasoning. We may all be in the same storm but we're not in the same boat. People have a right to choose and I respect that. Thank you for your thoughts on this my friend. I think this situation has opened avenues of conversation that have needed to be had for quite awhile now ❤

Agreed. For me the changing of the commission is what bothers me the most. I wish they just would have raised the price of the bars. Prices have raised on just about everything i purchase, so i was kinda expecting prices to go up on the bars.

Hi Edda! So happy to see you. We have similar personalities- I’m not a consultant to sell. These changes rollout of this has been horrendous.

My take on this is Scentsy really needs to listen to what ppl are saying and at least grandfather those in who were already there prior.

What gets me upset is they would of known for a while, yet they all still went to tahiti, and he did his live from there. I have only been a consultant since november and nearly hit 1000prv. I have cancelled my website in February, and i will not be advertising for them. I will be ordering the bare minimum for myself with one large club order a year to keep myself active and get a little back but that is all.

I agree- I wish people would just allow people to feeling whatever they feel about this. Scentsy isn’t holding anyone hostage- if you want to go, they make it easy to leave. They are making it harder to stay 😂 but no need to make the people who want to stay or go feel bad ❤ I just know now - I will never sell in an MLM - all this made that clear and I am grateful to finally have resolved with this because I have been going back and forth with possibly trying to sell for years. Thank you for video. I’m ok with all changes except the 20% commission if don’t reach 250. We were promised 25% for life. Not until they want /need to change it. It says on the join page word for word. And a company going back on their word…. I have major concerns.

Since I pay for my PWS I should show up on the consultant locator. The biggest part that bothers me is taking the 25% for life that we were promised.
