The channel is dedicated to promote retro-gaming, retro-musics, retro-demos and related stuff. Most of videos are focused on CoinOps and RetroBat compilations previews.
One new movie per 5 days is guaranteed (sometimes more often).

Looks a good collection

The CD-i has the best collection of FMV games such as Dragon's Lair 1&2, Space Ace, the 7th guest, Brain Dead 13, etc. IDK why, but I have a weird nostalgia for those games. The gameplay is generally terrible, but it was a very strange and unique style of video games that was very specific to its era. I know Dragon's Lair and Space Ace were released in arcades in the early-mid 80's, but it was the mid 90's when this genre become ubiquitous on home consoles. It's not so much the gameplay I enjoy, but the fantastic art of Dragon's Lair and Brain Dead 13, and especially the super cheesy sets, costumes, special effects and acting in the live action FMV games. Those are some of my favorites - Ground Zero Texas, Night Trap, Sewer Shark, Space Pirates. The 3DO also had a good selection of FMV games, but any games shared between the 3DO and CD-i apparently ran better on CD-i. If someone could figure out better gameplay for FMV games I would love to see them make a comeback, as long as they kept the super cheese factor of the live action games.

Exactly, like You said. You will only need RetroBat installed then this compilation should be added to RetroBat directories. As usual - everyone have to find it on Your own. The same applies to rest of RetroBat compilations already posted as movies (and for those, that will be posted in future) :)

You can always add MAME games (that You liked and works good with MAME 196) or console games or even new systems. But the most probably You won't find EXTRAS files, that makes this compilation so pretty. By saying EXTRAS i mean: video files made with the same standard, bezels with the same standards. So I think it's not worth of extending. Better to use different CoinOps compilation with more games (movies of everyone on this channel) or create own with (for example) RetroBat :)

Get a real Vectrex. Emulation is unsatisfying. Also, the arcade ambiance is completely unrealistic as the Vectrex is a home console.
Hi Do you know if build goes into cocktail mode for 2 player games? I placing a 24" wide Screen in a 1up cocktail cabinet. I tired the Gold plus but i cant seems to get the games to fit the full screen. Thanks!
Hi, hard to say, because I use such compilations only on PC's and had the same problem when tried to change "rotate" (or similar, can't remember) entry in "# Display" section of "settings.conf". But You may try to experience with it - maybe You will find proper settings (a small chance, but who knows?).
You should totally turn the stupid arcade background sound effects up so then we won't be able to hear anything from the games you're showing. But I guess it really doesn't matter since you show almost NO actual gameplay, just the attract modes. What a waste of my 14 minutes...
You may save much more time by stop visiting this channel :) As about arcade background sounds... it's my concept to hide breaks between clips from games - this makes the whole thing look smoother. Of course this time backgrounds are a little louder than previous time (which is my mistake), but I won't delete this movie "only" because of this reason, also because I don't have original compilation to re-record the movie. Some ppl like arcade background sounds in other arcade movies, others - don't. I can't satisfy everyone (and I don't intend to). Description of the channel sayz what it this channel for - mostly related to CoinOps compilations previews (as a priority).

Through interface of the frontend or just delete *.mp3 files (available in Music folder)

As for video on TH-cam - it does not (a few tracks mixed to one). The real CoinOps Legends 4 compilation does not have bonus music, but games' music and sounds 😊
@@ModernRetroGameplays the steam deck version has music in the menu and its very annoying as it is ontop of the game music which i would prefer to have.
Browse to the CoinOps folder wherever you installed it in desktop mode. There is a "music" folder in there. Delete it. It doesn't delete the game sounds/music, just those loud ass mp3s.

50 gb for for nothing! All pack of arcade cost only 12-13gb with more games and tons of options of configs! Coinops its a shame, not config controls and the worst its you can change emus! 1 test and removed for ever!
I respect Your opinion. No one forces anyone to use it. You may like other compilations or just MAME with extras and roms - it's Your decision. Cheers! :)
Can you advise how to install? The PlayStation pack installs fine but when I try to install this forgotten universe won’t run and I have to reinstall everything from scratch.
Hard to say. If You downloaded base FUA compilation - it just work. Updates from ArcadePunks (like Sega Dreamcast) just needs copying files - nothing else. Maybe missed some of VB runtimes or You edited some files manually? The best is to re-download, unpack and (eventually) replace all of original files.

Man meint, dass es bei den ganzen Arcadegames nur eine Handvoll von Sprecher gab, die die wenige Sprachausgabe eingesprochen haben ^^ Habe damals in der Jugendzeit schon immer gedacht, dass es immer die gleichen, wenigen, Stimmen sind ^^

Any CoinOps is NOT closed system. Every CoinOps/Forgotten Worlds/Forgotten Universe compilation is extendable. Just copy roms/isos, add screens (logos) and movies (by downloading or creating by itself) to proper folders. Keep in mind that mappings may not be working as good (on XBOX pads) as You expect due to different positions of Wiimote (horizontal/vertical), Nunchuk or Sensor bar - it may need a bit more of work. I remember when I was working on it for Gamebase Wii, years ago. It was pain in the *** to make controls properly working on Wii games :D

Kompilacji FUA nie robie, tylko film. Z CoinOps odchodze do RetroBat. Zakladam, ze widziales film z muzyczka z F17 (na tym kanale), to jeden z powodow stopniowego porzucania CoinOps i przechodzenia do RetroBat. A filmy z kompilacji CoinOps beda jeszcze powstawac, dla kompletnosci - bez wzgledu na ilosc gier. Nie znalazlem nikogo kto robi takie filmy - moze za slabo szukalem 😃

Hi. The compilation is dedicated to Pinball FX2 & 3. Better to not extend it with tables from other producer (inconsistent), but to create new compilations instead. Later this month, will be available movie with Pinball Arcade. If You mean rest of pinballs, like (for example) Zaccaria Pinball - maybe in future, but I can't promise that. If You mean emulation (PinMame, Visual Pinball, others), there were compilations in internet (probably findable yet), but mostly related to Hyperspin or Launchbox. Sorry if this is not the answer You expect 😁

Hi, I don't have this version (deleted), because I've migrated Crusader's 'CoinOps CC Handheld Classics' compilation to 'CoinOps Collection', which in fact is THE MOST complete as for Game & Watch pocket consoles. As because I don't use FW ATARASHII Play 2 MAX, I don't remember does it work with MAME or RetroArch. - If with MAME - [TAB] key is default for access to dip switches, mappings and similar things. - if with RetroArch - more complicated and it requires knowledge of it's mappings, which I don't know. I recommend You to search for 'CoinOps CC Handheld Classics', made by Crusader. I'm a big fan of CoinOps Collections too :). Mosty because of speed. But it does not allow all media files as separate files (only some of it).
