Rappa proves that erudition doesn’t have to be PF only and Apoc has had aoe favoured bosses sometimes too (second half both current and last cycle). But it would be cool to get more flexible erudition units.

I get where youre coming from about the Rover just being the top dog of any and everything in the world as it can seem like way too much. However the way im seeing it is that we are not just some average person but basically some sort of demigogue who keeps returning to the world to help fight back against the lament. This sort of explains the opening scene where some potential goddess puts something into our chest and throws us back into the world and again when it seems like we were actually there with shorekeeper during the initial lament thay ruined society (showing the payer that the MCs been part of the worlds story from the very start). Maybe the lament is being caused by some higher beings who are trying to eliminate humanity and we're the (powerful) pawn of another higher being (again potentially a goddess) who sends us into the world over and over again to thwart those beings behind the lament. This would make us being Jue's master, the founder of black shores etc make sense as these are all beings and groups dedicated to stopping the lament and protecting humanity. So maybe its not so much a power fantasy for the MC (ie the player) but that the Rovers role IS actually that important. Thats my take on the situation (from what we know or has been hinted at so far). Maybe im wrong and its jist another self insert, power fantasy story but ill give Kuro some slack and see how it all plays out (like PGR where the story went from meh/okay to 'omg wtf is happening-this is peak' story telling in some of the later chapters of the story)

Remembrance is 100% focused on summoning mechanics, I mean look at remembrance trailblazers splash art with the pink fox thing beside them. Not to mention Sunday is a summoner support unit that’s coming out next patch right before 3.0

As with the prototyping of QTE with youhu, double time stop on jinhsi, Yao with is slowdown, Changli's and Zhezhi's speed, Calcharros mechanical intensity, Quickswapping effectively as a whole, I can say with absolute confidence that wutheirng waves as it stands right now, The sky is the limit for their characters. SPOILER LEAKS Camellya and Lumi are looking good too, both extremely unique, with Lumi swapping forms between ranged and melee with Her skill, and camellya having pleasing animations and creative ideas. I do believe the boycott worked to some extent. Sure genshin is still making alot of money but Natlan BARELY made more money then the filler patches of Fontaine like 4.6, 4.7 and 4.8. You can tell they are hemorrhaging players because half the QoL updates for 5.0 was to help brand new players get into the game quickly, like skipping straight to Natlan.

I do return to this game right when 5.0 live. Couple hours into the game and i can't play it as the same anymore. Story is a huge downgrade from fontaine and im not hooked at all with the new area. If you want to try then go on, its probably just me and its most likely because genshin is not my taste anymore

Getting really angry. It all really depend on what I asking for. The stuff I think of is not worth getting really angry about it. It just of more of some what boring or some what annoying. I not part of those user doing the genshin boycott group whining about Sumeru /Natlan and for some reason they angry about McDonald and want to boycott it now for difference reason. Hi there, casual f2p player here. I play genshin mostly for the characters, exploration, and story, in that order. I think I'll still continue playing only for to the characters and exploration.

For me, it's a 'No'. Sumeru dialogues were too long. Fontaine was equally long. Natlan is okay. It's sad that the chapters are so draggy. But if you want to start Genshin now, I'd say 'Yes'. Just to experience a whole new, beautiful world.

In regards to Argenti and Tail, it's possible recording time issues or agency issues. I only know its not related to the boycott. Meanwhile with Huohuo, Sukoku, and Luci, that could be related to a multitude of reasons. I haven't found an official reason why, but I have hope that it deals with time for other roles and freeing up time to keep a manageable work-life balance. I only trust if the announcement comes from the VA themselves, no one else.

I really hate the fact that some of ya'll take this black-and-white all-or-nothing mentality to these situations. "If you don't uninstall the game and leave the community you must not care and you're not worth listening to" "if the VAs still work for the game as they share their criticisms then they must not care and they're not worth listening to". Do ya'll not understand the nuances here? We live in a world where racism & colorism are commonplace. You even acknowledge this. I know you logic it out as "this shit barely matters compared to bona fide real life racism" and yeah, sure. But like... that doesn't make this then not an issue. By comparison it's a pretty small issue, kind of. But it's still an issue. I feel like I'm going crazy seeing how commonly people have been expressing this idea of "quit or stfu." Especially because I know most of ya'll really mean "stfu or stfu". On one hand, I do think that if people could wholeheartedly commit to quitting, if they did that while also letting HoYo know why they're quitting and maybe making some noise on their way out, that could work, yeah. But I think part of why this shit often doesn't work is because there's this common understanding among players that 1) the community is HUGE and 2) people fuckin *love* this game. Even the people here questioning how HoYo treats darker skin often aren't "haters" like some ppl claim -- they're actually big fans, and that's not hypocritical of them. They just want the game to improve in this one regard. And they know while a lot of ppl do care about this skin color issue, it's gonna be difficult to get a lot of ppl to genuinely commit to not spending or outright quitting, so they question if it's even worth quitting themselves... it's that paradoxical thing there that made this perhaps doomed to "fail" before it even started. Also, part of the reason why some people seem "so serious" about this or are making it out to be like "life-or-death" as Mujin puts it is because if they're meek about it people like ya'll only have an even easier time either ignoring them or quelling them when they do speak up. They're fighting an insane uphill battle. Does that mean it's not worth speaking whatsoever? I feel like the chief complaint some ppl have with these ppl isn't the _way_ they're opposing HoYo here, but the fact that they "dare" oppose HoYo at all.
