Hello! First thing I tried was 10w50. Now I'm back to 10w40. The noise still there but since it doesn't became louder, I just accepted and keep riding it. 👍

@@fagundes6666 The service in my country recommend use castrol 10w50, vietnam so hot and traffic jam. But i believe i only put PAO oil (like eni racing). Ticking noise do not loud to much, but i still hear that, Once I asked the service, they said it was the normal sound of the camshaft system

@@fagundes6666 I think European motorcycle always have characteristic noises, only Japanese bike is silent, but that's not exciting.

Just accept it. That's what I did... 😅😅😅

Hello! Still having the noise. No solution yet. The noise is much noticeable when the engine is warm. Like many people said to me, maybe it's a triumph thing! 🤷

Hello! After checking valves, I change the oil to 10w50. No luck. Yesterday I took it to work. Early in the morning, the temperature was about 5° degrees celcius and I hardly notice the noise. When I came back home at the end of the afternoon, with about 17° degrees the noise was there as usual. I already quit searching for a solution. I talked to many people from other countries with the same problem and no one was able to solve the problem. I love the motorcycle and I will keep riding it! 🤷

Me too. Already talked to many people with the same problem and no one can get an answer, even from triumph.

@@fagundes6666 I think triumph know exactly what it is....and have dealers feed customer's a line. Will not do them any favors.

@@nickaxe771 my triumph's warrenty ended more than a year ago. If triumph knows what the cause, I think they repair it €€€€€€€€€€€. 🤷

@@fagundes6666 They have also told me the same as its a pre existing logged problem......its just getting them to admit the know what it is....I think they do.....to many people have this problem.

@@fagundes6666 pelo que outro mecânico que ja trabalhou na triumph, disse que é o "garfo" da embraiagem que empena e tem de ser substituído . o estrago €€€€€ fica para cima de 2000€

@@zx7rkawa99 Isso não tem grande lógica. Pelo que investiguei, as triumph têm de afinar válvulas com alguma regularidade e esta é a minha aposta. Outra causa, foi me dita por um mecânico da triumph com quem consegui falar através do facebook, que disse que é crónico os carretos da caixa fazerem barulho e que não tem mal nenhum. @@fagundes6666 pois, tb pensei em valvulas ou tensor, mas a minha tem poucos kms.. só se isto é como as 125cc tem de se afinar valvulas de 5000 em 5000kms 😂

@@zx7rkawa99 😆😆 pelo que tenho lido, é mais ou menos isso. Se não me falha a memória, eles aconselham a afinar válvulas de 2 em 2 anos, independentemente dos kms que a mota faça. Já o manual de reparação da haynes, diz que se afina válvulas aos 32000 km.

Só faz ao ralenti ou rotações muito baixas. 🤷

Eu em Setembro também fui à triumph para eles ouvirem o barulho. Estava um dia muito quente e apanhei muito trânsito, a mota aqueceu bastante e o barulho desapareceu. Não deu para ver nada... Quando regressei a casa, barulho de novo. Um inglês disse que é crónico e que o barulho vem da caixa de velocidades. Vale o que vale.

they are 31x10.5 R15

@@nunofrguedes, that's surprising - they looked pretty big. Maybe it's because there wasn't a lift on the rig. Good job getting up the rock!
