A fun old Florida attraction...

I wish the busch gardens in Houston survived ages ago. Just ugghys it last so short and could have become an awesome theme park with thrilling rides etc ...just sad that it didn't last and my childhood park AstroWorld long gone forever too. It's Houston is not meant for thrilling action ,only industrial....but what a nice lil adventure you had there too. I hope to visit Florida's Busch gardens one day. It would be the best day ever !! ❤❤❤ 🎢

I'll never forget the excitement of my first train shows . I thought train shows were about finding Bargains most of the vendors wanted Hobby Shop prices. Sticker shock finally drove me away. Yes I know trains have always been an expensive Hobby. It was always funny to see the same old men with the same stuff show after show after show cuz they would not bend on their prices. They weren't vendors they were collectors.

very nice,,, i had a chance to stand where you are, only with a full size steam engine, at steam town when it was in VT. I live in MA. it was great, , as it pulled us back into the station, from Chester. and i did climb Big Boy, 4012. was sorry to see it leave. Maybe you and I can meet in Scranton? lol,,, see what's going on there. for me, now, i go to the sea shore trolley museum, which is a lot of fun too, tho, i do miss the steam, etc. Fun video btw, keep them going.......

NIce visit at a little known historic place. Did you know there was an Indian battle near Daytona Beach too.?You need to lose the chew in your cheek, besides looking bad, Cancer in the mouth can keep you from continuing to visit historic places.

The "scale" of the track is actually 3 ft narrow gauge - I can tell you this because I was the "other" engineer alongside Martha in the cab. In the old days, this gauge was used all over the country, but these days it's mostly used at places like amusement parks (Busch Gardens and Disney included). The locomotive was originally built for one of those old railways, but was converted to diesel (the smoke is just for show) in the 1970s when it operated at what was then Marriott's Great America in California. We also have four other narrow gauge locomotives on site - two from Six Gun Territory and two from Opyland. Glad you enjoyed your visit
