Eric included a lot of tribute songs to many of the legends that have passed away. This one was for Duane Allman and of course the great T Bone Walker. #ericclapton #StormyMonday #duaneallman #ericclatonstlouis #ericclapton2023 #ericclaptontour #jambase #tbonewalker

🎉🎉🎉🎉 was there as a Dancing Fool 🎉🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂😂😂😂
This version of the song from St. Louis is the best version that Eric has done. I wish they would release an official DVD for this one
Beautiful rendition! Even though I saw in person in StL, I appreciate your posting!
Eric the love of my life😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What a great song and tribute to Robbie Roberson ❤ Forever Fan ❤
I already commented, but DAMN, I'm 66 years old, have been listening to him most of my life. Was blessed to have seen him 2xs, once in '74 when I was still in high school, then when pregnant w my son in '90. I am so happy to have been born when I was, & grow up w the music I did.
My God it 's Wonderfulll Erick Clapton você sempre será um ícone do rock na guitarra e melodias lindíssimas 🙏🏻🙏🏻😮😮😮🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Clapton is fortunate to have a band of very seasoned players. All stars in their own right.
Abe Union pride old or newer Clapton is still mind blowing that's why his fans love him and respect him the best
And what the hell is with the operating room lighting?
YAWnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
The man, the myth, SWEET
Finally! Somethin' good outta Clapton again. I wonder wha' hoppened? Hopefully he retired Badge. Horrible song from Cream days. Oh, he should bring the musicians closer together so we can see 'em.
I'm a 50 year fan of his, I'm now a 70 yr old fan , thanks for keeping it real 🎉🎉
Yes Mayer's trio is good but that a three piece band puts out this much sound? .....any of you heard Cream? ... only three of them & they were much louder & had more sound & probably more an example of live music... its never the size of the band, but the quality of the musicians 😮
Well that solo took off! 🚀…. Beautiful timbre and intonation on that blue axe ….. lookin forward to Newcastle and Manchester my man 🙌🏽
Oh, is Clapton still playing? I thought the Covid vaccine destroyed that.
Believe it or not the world survived....even for those that decided against the vaccine.
How can any one dare walk in late carrying a beer with EC playing . I'd throw him out , dumb ass .
In rock music the most popular guitar players are hendrix and Clapton!that's all!
Eric Clapton one of the guitarist vocalists Blues, Holy Mary, awesome in Cream, of blues artists, played many for 60 year. Congratulations Eric Clapton suffered in life seeked treatment, and others free help!! Love ❤❤❤At 78 years amazing guitarist and continue s wilt addiction’s! May Good Health be with you at this and Blessings to your family!!
This is what I say: SIMPLY THE BEST
This is one of the few songs that makes me cry. So many tributes recently, so many physically gone from our world of music
I agree 100%. Robbie Robertson got all the credit but Levon, Richard, Rick and Garth were all part of it.
This trio is the best thing that has ever happened to live music.
Thank you for posting. I love it when you can watch it and you can zoom in when you’re watching the video. Great job.
Great video ty for sharing
T Bone Walker was the originator of the song. If your going to pay homage to anybody for the song.
That's right!
Nice tribute.
No words !
I'm very glad Eric finally is on fire again and play the climax solo for 2 bars.
Bluesman Eric Clapton!
Pretty nice! But let me direct your attention to a version he did back when he was god:) th-cam.com/video/Az7sLKGOUe8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=g8cfINcFSmicnrgV
Beautiful song, great singing
São ótimos 👏🏿👏🏿
I'm amazed how a three person band is able to create so much sound. Steve's vocal harmonies, John singing over his guitar playing rhythm while adding in lead lines, and don't forget Pino! It's just him and the kick drum that handles the entire low end.
John Mayer is great
..beautifully done Eric.. RIP Robbie et al.
...should be for T-Bone Walker too.
A very soft, polite, unoffensive version.....then Eric plays and reminds me of how great he was and still is.
now isa time to stop...
..then why are you here??
He stopped in 1970
T-Bone Clapton
Edit: nevermind... I was asking who the other guitarist was but he actually said his name at this show. :P I was at the show in Denver Saturday Night. I kept seeing Doyle Bramhall II mentioned for this tour but he wasn't with them. The electric guitarist playing the black guitar is Andy Fairweather Low.
Nathan east, bass
These men of North, and one of the South, We must open our hearts, sing with our mouth, Let not our heart delay our expression, For memories matter, and ner’ a regression, Each man played a part, each one had a hand, God bless the sweet memory, remember The Band. thank you so Eric, for honoring your friend, All is at peace, and all hurt amend.
And then there's beer cup boy in the lower left..making it IMPOSSIBLE for multiple folks behind him to see anything other than his rude back.....come on dude!
hahaha dude is just taking it all in
You captured the sound so superbly! 😮 Eric Clapton - guitar / vocals Andy Fairweather Low - guitar / vocals Nathan East - bass / vocals Sonny Emory - drums Chris Stainton - keyboards Paul Carrack - keyboards / vocals* Katie Kissoon - vocals Sharon White - vocals
Thank you.
@@RobertFStevens 😊❤
The recording sounds really good. What did you use?
I just used my iPhone. Sometimes I use a little Sure mic that fits into my phone but I don't remember if I used it or not. I think I used it in my other video of "Makes No Difference" at the same show.
Recording is fantastic and just on an iPhone……Wow!
Fantastic Video of this classic, The Band song. Just saw him play this in Denver last night. Awesome concert.
An emotional song on a lot of levels. He did a lot of tributes that night.
@@RobertFStevens Yes he did. I would have loved to hear some Cream stuff and some of his other great songs like Lay down Sally.
Eric is class. The Band - Riick Danko etc were diifferent class. Apparently Eric wanted to join them after Riichard Manuel's demise. As great as Eric is, I think the Band moved on . Maybe the best group I ever saw- including the Beatles, Rolling Stones. KInks, Byrds, Zappa, Beefheart, Hendriix, Yardbirds, etc etc
Robbie said he asked about joining before that, to play lead for them. And Robbie said- "but I'm the guitarist." LOL 😆
Hey, this Clapton fella is pretty good….😉😊🇬🇧
Miss Rick and Robbie but a beautiful tribute.
And Richard and Levon
His voice clear as a bell, his heart shows in his Tributes & still making music
Thank you for uploading!! I am so happy I was able to see this legend in person :) This was the best quality I could find for this song. Do you happen to have the first song EC did "The Shape I am in"? It was an awesome cover when I heard it live and would be great it see it here again.
I have only partial footage for “The Shape I’m In”
I couldn't comment on the other video that you uploaded from two days ago - Eric Clapton's cover of 'It makes no difference' from St.Louis. The quality was great! Thank you for uploading
Thank you. I just turned them on.... I learned if you set it for kids you cannot have comments
