The malfunction is operator error, after reviewing the video several times I saw your middle and ring finger coming in contact w the op rod.
What brace is that
Easy way to shave a lot of weight is get a Delta 14 chassis, and remove the rail ontop that is mounted to the barrel. You wil cut over 2 lbs off the gun. Side note; you can buy the top handguard for a regular M1A to get rid of the big hole the removed rail will leave
Good video but a for a better , fair comparison , you should compare the Tomahawk to the equal barrel length Sage 13.7 rifle instead of this 12.5 pistol. More apples to apples IMO 😉

Why can't you show the mag inserting?
Any one saying that the "only" difference between the 7.62x51 and the 308 Winchester is the chamber pressure, is only half-right. As the great @Paul Harrell has said: "If you are 50% right. You are 100% wrong." There are a number of dimensional differences between the two cartridges. Along with the difference in pressure; the brass is thicker. 👈 Facts. ||| Opinion 👉 It has been said that the thicker case walls are so the rounds can stand up to rigorous military use. I think it could also be due to the fact that all NATO countries don't use the same rifles. Those different rifles may headspace differently and have dissimilar chamber dimensions. More brass means more expansion of the case to form a proper gas seal. 🤔
When you buy an M1A it comes with a little article on "slam fires" and the Springfield manual advises only uses SAAMI speced factory loads of .308. The case is thinner than NATO rounds and can be indented by the bolt when the round is chambered.

@@OfficialWhiskey From what I gather it's best to stick with either Springfield magazines or Checkmate Industries, which are literally Springfield mags without the logo, as they supply both SA and USGI mags. I just bought a full-length M1A Loaded 😍 and I ordered a couple Checkmate mags from Midway, can confirm they are exactly the same as the Springfield mag it came with, except half the price. Haven't shot it yet tho, but I've never seen anyone complain about SA/CI mags on all the various M1A/M14 reviews I've watched. Btw that paint scheme looks sick on that SOCOM!
I like hearing and military opinion on the WASR 10. My 2020 WASR is an excellent gun. It’s everything I hope it would be. I previously had a Romanian M10 which I would consider about its equal. My 2008 build 10/63 was assembled poorly and I got rid of it.
Being my first AK I was genuinely impressed so I will definitely have to check out the M10 next!

I know Finnish AKs were the first AKs ever imported into the country didn’t sell very well was only until the SKS paved the way for 7.62x39 firearms then Chinese AKs took the market by a storm back in the 80s nowadays unfortunately AK47 and AK74 rifles and pistols have become very expensive. Interesting fact the AK-50 is finally been made is freakn cool wish I could get one day.

Unfortunately yes, I was given this firearm to review and had no time before hand to clean properly before filming!
Looked like light primer strikes. I have a complete DDmk18 and never had any malfunctions running suppressed.
A few mods: You can take that picatinny rail off, replace with a regular handguard. Take off the fat front sight and replace with the M1A "Scout" front sight. The "Scout" sight is taller than the standard National Match front sight but is same width (thin) as the National Match sight. Also replace the large rear peep with a standard size or NM peep. Should help with those long range shots.
You can also put a “kick killer“ recoil pad on the rifle to extend the length of pull a little bit. This also reduces the already reduced recoil.

I have an older M1a. I believe 1979. Be aware if you buy an older one late 70's early 80's it could be a grenade. When Springfield started running out of USGI parts they got sloppy. Cast bolts were used on some rifles. Good news is the recall is still active. I bought one few years ago, did some research and contacted Springfield. They replaced barrel and bolt, is good to fire .308 now. They even put my bayonet lug back on😃

Cool rig, but to be blown away that it cann shoot 762 or 308 i dont quite understand. Its no different the havin an ar in 556, theyll shoot 223 or 556, or havin a 357, itll shoot 38 special... lol

As a Wasr-10 owner, wait a little bit and buy a Serbian Zastava Zpap. Nothing wrong with Wasr-10's the Zastavas are a way better value.

I have two m70 and a M77 .308 Zastava USA imo is pumping out the best aks on the market right now. I have a wasr as well and a psa gf5. My GF5 is wayyyy nicer compared to my WASR! Any experience with PSA?
