@@Maxikingallright93 that's true but sipahis mastery deals more dmg and take less dmg to shielded units so it's best to use them against shield units

@@domiza1575 very niche not obviously good against anti cav but it might be a good support if used right. But rn a lot of people uses a lot of phalanxes which hard counter any cav unit

@@WolfdwmonEthel I like this cavalry the most of all. unfortunately it was always weak, now you can see that it is a great unit against shields I hope they will have their 5 minutes

@@domiza1575 i agree the mastery allows them to survive longer so agaisnt shield units they are really good

@@earth23-g9g hello I can do a siege battle for longbow mastery since every unit can 1v1 longbows if the get close enough

@@menaceflame i say zweihander is the best counter as it can block it's attack and deal massive dmg to them too

I think most t4 sword + shield units should be effective agaisnt them.

@@rikrishshrestha5421 what is wrong with you? First i dont want my expensive t5 anti infantry unit getting countered by some t4 men at arms or worse… and second, why should t4 counter t5 when its not like a natural counter (cav vs archers etc.)???

@@niko7626 Pikes are counters to cavs and sword+shield is counter to Pike units . whats wrong with this ? there should be some injuries on sword team too though. that'll do it

@@rikrishshrestha5421 i would love to see you walking there with a shield and sword (not talking about tower shields) and charge a phalanx. Would pay really good money for that. Cb is a game of rock paper scissors. And a phalanx is hard to maneuver and its weakness is mobility and missiles/ranged. Melee units should NOT be able to simply head-on a t5 pike unit in brace. Also a t4 should never kill a t5 unit when its not a natural counter or the player does some major mistakes

​@@niko7626 A myrm is tower shield type isn't it ? i might be mistaken here coz it has big shield. But anyways, there is already PTR video where if you charge PG directly from front, its suffers more but if you charge from side , it gets easier to kill phalanx. T4 shoudn't kill T5 pike units ? LMAO , this game has MAA, Wuwei who has been wacking Madao since long ago. Devs don't give sh*t about that. A natural counter for Cav is Pikes, right ? Have you seen Xuanji directly charging at fortes (with longest pikes in game) ? Fortes suffer kill xuanji but Fortes suffer heavy losses and if hero is between fortes, hero dies. lol RIP balance.

@@mattb7450 if I remember it's just epic combat doctrine unit damage doctrine and health doctrines. But the unit has been changed since this is only beta.

Wrong their cc immune while they have their blue shield indicated the blue health in the bottom left. They are cc immune when braces and regenerate when out of combat

They can defend choke points in cities making cav not effective especially good if the team has 3 deployed to defend 1 area

Modao can defend from any direction and has a 65 reduction base defense on cav so it still has uses

modao are almost immortal against cav, and with proper doctrines they can also tank quite a lot against infantry
