Explanation about the shadow: The shadow was NEVER REAL. Lynx created a shadow version of himself to have someone to blame for his toxic marriage. He coped with the trauma by creating the shadow to not blame his husband or himself for not divorcing. So like if he has a mental breakdown because of the abuse, he blamed the shadow for "causing it." He blamed the invisible voice for making him cry or making him yell at his husband. He blamed the shadow for calling 911 and causing this whole "scene." He blamed the shadow for his "dramatic" outbursts. The shadow was his coping mechanism to convince him that his relationship was fine and the shadow was causing the problems.

Explanation about his death: If the shadow isn't real, then how did it push Lynx off the building? It didn't. Remember, Lynx created the shadow to have someone to blame, so instead of admitting that even after talking with his friend, he still wanted to die, he blamed the shadow for his demise. BUT in reality, he threw himself over the ledge.

I love how at the end the husband was running towards the hospital. It shows that he still loved the MC and that a relationship can have genuine love in it and still be horrible and abusive. The love never negated the abuse.
I was hoping someone would notice! Yes he did really love Lynx (MC) but let's just say after a few years he got insecure and wanted Lynx completely "tied down."

@thatcreepystitchy my last video was almost a year ago. I use a different channel, and mainly only use this one to watch stuff. I can tell you tho, my new channel is just as cringe as this one

Yknow, people shouldnt tell you what to do with your ocs. Give them as much trauma as you want! But to say that a story with an non-traumatic oc has no character development and is plain, thats a bit much. An oc without trauma doesn't automatically mean its unproblematic. Theres many ways you can make an interesting oc without giving them an event that will scar them for the rest of their life. I cant tell people to not give their ocs trauma cause its their ocs. It just triggers me when they put it in a way that says "oh you have an oc without trauma? Your oc is plain boring and has no story". Like no, not all ocs need to have trauma to be a good character.

I completely agree with you!! Am OCs doesnt need trauma to have great character developemnt or to be a good story! And I'm sorry if my video offended you in any way. It wasn't meant to. This was just something I have experienced many times in the past. This channel is dedicated to my " horror" OCs. It just makes me angry that some people tell me not to do this or not to do that when their my OCs. Many of my OCs are based off creepypastas and horror movies. I make sure to put Trigger warning in videos that need it and I mark my videos not made for kids. But of course those who lie will watch anyway.

I have this one character who just got all the trauma. Like ALL OF IT. Theyve died exactly 147 times (undead immortal-ish). Some of the worse ones include burning (this happened twice) being stabbed seven times with their own dagger, getting hit by a train, fell/jumped off a cliff (this has happened 5 times), and got poisioned.
Dang sounds like one of my OCs!! 🤣

Not me, I do kind of but most times my ocs' backstory aren't very traumatic, or like it's easy to move on and get rid of the trauma.. so yeah I'm one of the rare creators hah

You are totally correct how the heck are they going to start? If they don’t have any character development that’s why I always give my character, some kind of trauma and there’s some characters. I’m still trying to figure out their trauma.
