It called "Surprise Trade"😑... I Yeet any of those iffy Pokemon to the Shadow Realm asap, but couldn't be bothered to sort out the items left behind (I never use Master Balls anyway, saving it for a rainy day, that will never come type thing😅)... Honestly, I haven't surprised traded in over a year cus of how bad it is😣...
Either way, it a good reminder to get rid of the "spares"😉👍~ EDIT: Ok, apparently u can't drop them or sell them... I wonder if that's why I didn't get rid of them back then🤔... Going to have to look into this...

Something similar happened to me in pre massive mass outbreak Legends Arceus. I spent days shiny hunting for Shinx in an outbreak. The moment I gave up, I found one while running around the map.

Pretty much what happened to me with a Cetoddle. I was climbing one the spikes on the mountains and hanging on the side of it on Koraidon and this black Cetoddle just casually strolls over the peak of it, just like appears all of a sudden, and for a moment we’re both just kinda looking at each other as I process this strangely cinematic shiny find before I finally catch it 😂
Random Shinys are just so much more exciting to find these days (especially since I do Outbreak Shiny Hunting). I'm just glad I went straight after it, if I didn't, the Cyclizar probably would have been long gone😅.
