Well, normally I would've watched it, but with them chasing away OUR Joost, I didn't watch 1 minute of the finals! Not one cent I gave them through voting. The ebu has ruined it completely for me personally. But hey, in 3 weeks I will go to a performance of Joost on a festival. I support him, through thick and thin. He came out is the absolute winner in the end, with the most streams. More than 100 million now. Thank you for your kind words to him and us. Pfffff I still get tears when I think about it.

Estonian here. I really thought that this would be a winner this year. We usually send not so good songs or hit and miss every couple of years. But it was a first time for me since La Forza, when I actually liked our Eurovision competition song chances to win after listening other songs. I am glad you liked it and seems people all over the world as well- it was in Spotify top 10 song of Global Viral and was in that place couple of weeks.

Don't forget Australia gave Bambie a 12. Its our first is a very looooooooooooooooong time... Thanks Australia! It was great the way Danny gave the score #CrownTheWitch

I didnt even think that voting from the start made it easier for people not watching to vote but yes.... I've got Israel stans saying citation needed for the vote inflation but yeah the evidence is all around. Its not helped that a lot of nasty people think everything is a Jewish conspiracy but even a busted timepiece is right twice a day and this was. I think limiting voting to once or twice for the same country to each device would reduce blind disapora voting as well as rubbish like this happening. Last year showed the juries need to be less vanilla, this year reminded how easy it is to fix or inflate the televote. I don't even mind if its done out of geunine sympathy like Ukraine but government and religious communities doing it is some sinister shit.

Israel are signed up for next year along with Mocroocoil. I'm a bit dubious about getting involved next year because of that because I'm not sure if anything will change or if we can go through another year like this one again. I didn't engage with Hurricane and removed Unicorn from my 'Best' of list - i just can't.

I do think part of viewing figure hike was the songs were pretty great with something for everyone.

This was a really good talk about how this year, all the topics talked about were great with the sections I loved was accessibility, your top 10 delights and disappointment.
