The left beater has better response than my right beater....
@@parkourshow8949 This is not how it comes out of the box haha I just like it better when the left is slightly tighter haha
Nice dude! Keep going show us complete challenge
The left will always stop early because of the shaft. I've tried everything, trust me.
i’ve put little weights on the right to have the same lag and it works perfectly
Yo! That's some sick drum cover ! I don't like Slipknot that much but I really enjoy the drum parts in their song. Also don't forget to wear your ear protection when you're practicing 😄
@@kevinfrancais27 Thanks for watching! I'm actually using a set of noise cancelling earphone when I make videos haha
Relax your hip flexors and hamstrings. Use your calf muscle to control the ankle motion when pushing down with your ankles and make sure the ball of your foot and toes stay in contact with the footboard at all times. Lowering your heels will also give you more balance.
You can clearly see your left finger is pushing down more than the right, this is an absolutely ridiculous test!!!
😂
Speed and indurance are easier with perfected technique. Technique is key with drumming to metal and technical rudiments ect.
Start at a slower tempo and work your way up by playing for longer periods of time. Like for instance, play 140bpm for 1 minute straight ect. Up to 10 minutes and beyond at each tempo you want to learn. The longer you play it and remember to try to always keep completely relaxed. 💯
Awesome dude 👍
Thanks man!
Why? Try some rudiments and listen to better music.. everybody is playing this noise. If your target audience is angry In-cel boys dressed in black, then you're crushing it!
i may be angry, but i am not an incel boy and i think this person is doing a good job, keep at it bro
All right, stick your tongue out and shake your head
HELL YAH🤘🤘
Hails to old suffo!
Super 🤘
Nice!
Dave is known to steadily increase tempo when they played live. Try it
You can do It good luck
Don't give up youvare really good
Thanks
Oh you play realy good. Can you please play emerald sword?
I actually made a Shorts of it 😄
Oh thanks
I Will suscribe you thanks ♥️
🤘🎸🤘
underrated asf
신발신고 하셔요

Nice, but the left one will need to be adjusted to compensate for the weight of the shaft
Nice work! Sounds great.
lower your heel and dont stress the muscle
とても良いですね♪
That other person is sort of wrong, AND this is a different technique compared to your other “help” video. Here you are using “floating ankle motion” but in the other you are using more of a hybrid, pressure ankle motion You are using the proper ankle motion in this video but your hip flexor isn’t stable enough to “float” your leg in the air while your ankle dribbles the pedal up and down, this is why your foot is moving up and down and the strokes are inconsistent in volume
I figured I was doing it all wrong in this one. 😢 I mean it really felt like involuntary movement on my ankles back then.
Also, drop the tempo down to like 170 and work your way up to 200, but focus on playing at 170-180 for looooong periods of time, your body will naturally find a groove and work out a more efficient way of playing, and build endurance
Another thing you can cha he is your pedal settings, some pedal settings work much better with different techniques, depending on how you’re trying to play
You’re pushing into the pedals too much, it seems you’re using a sort of “pressure” technique where you are using your calf to push the pedal down, AND pushing your leg back up to reset it, then quickly releasing the calf and pressing it again, this isn’t really a “bad” technique, but it isn’t the technique that 90% of drummers use to go fast for long periods, but SOME drummer do this. Check out “Aric Improta” he is a drummer that plays the same way as you, but whenever he goes fast, his feet move down the pedal, this creates more resistance from The pedal and the pedal will help suppose the weight of your leg more, so you don’t have to use as much calf strength to keep your legs up, I will find a video of him doing it and link it here
Your comment was the answer I was looking for! Thanks man! Like you've mentioned above, I think I'm using my calves to push the foot board down. And just now I realized that I was actually pulling my knees up to reset the position, which I'm not sure if it will work in longrun double bass drumming. So I'm basically shaking my knees and trying to apply my ankle technique at the same time.
@@trolltopro there are different ways your can approach it, you can keep playing the way you are and get stronger and faster that way, it is possible, or you can try and more relaxed technique where you are floating above the pedals and your calf does all the work, taking the work away from Your upper leg
I've seen some TH-camrs saying that, to correctly play ankle technique, you need to use only your calves, but I found this sooo hard, my body gradually got used to what I'm doing right now.
@@trolltopro this video should help, if you want to learn the more “relaxed” but FASTER technique. Called “floating ankle motion” This guy has a lot of really useful videos about this technique th-cam.com/video/aCjt0toay_4/w-d-xo.html
@@trolltopro so the problem is, our ankles are not very “smart” or precise, we don’t use our ankles to perform precise controlled movements in normal life, think of it like this, you once could t use a pen to write, you had to teach the small muscles in your wrist and fingers to control the pen, the same thing is applied to the ankle, you need to gain control over the fast twitch muscles in the lower leg(calf and ankle). The way you can speed up this process is, loosen your spring tension, make the beater long(heavy) and pull the beater angle back, this is going to make the pedals very slow and very heavy, this is good, because it gives your foot more “feedback” and let’s your brain learn how to follow the pedal up and down using your ankle, do all of these things and play very “slowly” (around 160), try and let the beater swing back very far. I will probably start doing lessons on this myself. Because I went from NO ankle technique at all, to being able to play 240 with my ankles. And I think I understand exactly how to achieve this technique the fastest way. But this is what I did^
Its controlled by the upper leg to contract the calf muscle and move your heel.
Thanks man I'll try!
@@trolltoproit takes a while to get the control down so start slower maybe at 150 bpm 👍
*PromoSM* 🙌
Good job brother, keep it up
*Demon lmao my bad yall
I will never be able to play gravity blast😅
I wanna change the beaters haha
Practice the fill-ins with metronome and youu are good to go!
It takes 10k hour to master something. I did what your doing now when i was a kid, keep going. You will start to be able to feel like your running on air. My shins use to bleed from play w beater depths. I played alot of Pantera and Slipknot stuff and moved on to bands w pure blast beats. Find a good stool it will make a huge difference in how you sit and ability to use hip flexors. One day youll get to sweep footing and heel to toe stuff.
Thanks for advices! Currently I'm still working on slow easy songs. (there's no way I can play Blast beats for now..) My plan is to work on Slayer's or Slipknot's someday in the future. And yeah I definitely need a better stool haha
AWESOME!!
