Unpopular opinion - Ron Wood is better than Keith Richards. Prove me wrong
Music is not about being "better". However, Keith has written so many more classics than Ronnie that your comparison is comedy at best :)
@@DandelionPowderman very true. But in terms of guitar playing, I personally like Ron's guitar playing more. Maybe because of his connections with Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page
@@sabyasachi9184 Yep, you said it: YOU like his playing more. I love them both, personally. However, the guitar playing people will remember 50 years from now, is Keith's playing.
@Nguyên Đăng (Daniel) Ronnie is A MUCH better "player"...and probably overall better musician...Keith is a producer and writer, and I am not sure there is a better one in the rock world (Beatles are mostly pop, not rock). Keith in 1964-67 played a lot of great guitar...but he focused on being a 'support' piece in the band from 1968 to 1975....and then I think he never got better...at all...though in 1994 he played a cool beast of burden spanish style lick that i never heard him do before...I LOVE Keith, but Ronnie plays the solos because he is more fluid.....but he just plays scales like Keith...Mick Taylor, on the other hand, was playing arpeggios mixed iwth scales and had the greatest rock live sound I ever heard....up until 1990s (I think the new Allmans eclipse him now).
@ramsareit ttue... I look at it is two sides to a coin. Both contributing to one full sound. And don't forget Keys plays 80% of ALL the guitars on Let It Bleed
album cover looked like an oldie/classic on release, on purpose...
In case anyone doesn't know, the 8-track version of Beast Of Burden is 54 seconds longer. But the 8-track version of Shattered is an entire minute and two seconds shorter!

You can tell at the end it was about to get REALLY funky...they had to cut that off before we got too deep!
Would be cool to hear the complete session for this. It was perfect for MF DOOM's "Kookies." It would be a trip to hear how funky they did get. The bassman was about to go in.
