This was Ben's worst game by far....looked a bit tired, On his game he would have ripped Leeds a new one. Carrick should be resting him and not relying on him as much.

He wasn't unstoppable this week. There's the potential to be a very good player, but he should be creating more chances and needs to start scoring goals. One goal in 15 games, a tap in on his first start.

Just a bit of context for all of you saying "you're delusional thinking he can replace Salah," or "are you stupid? He doesn't score anywhere near enough." Salah never scored any more than 6 goals in one season until he was 23 YEARS OLD! At 19 years old, Salah scored 4 goals for Basel that season. At 18, he scored 5 for them. 20 and 21 years old - ZERO goals on loan at Chelsea. 22 years old - 6 goals for Fiorentina You cannot possibly know whether he will or won't score enough to replace Salah at this age. In fact, he's VERY similar to Salah at 19 years old in terms of style of play. Salah also never provided any more than 6 assists until he was 23 years old! Doak already has 5 at Middlesbrough and he's only played 14 games! As I said, there's no way of knowing at 19 if he'll score and assist enough to replace Salah. What he'll definitely do when he's back, is he'll give a cracking option to terrify opposition defenders in the latter stages of games! Great weapon to have.

He needs two good years on loan and he will be ready for Liverpool

He should get rid of the flashy teasing stupid thing. What makes Salah or Mane are so lethal; they are direct and no bullshit. They still do drop a shoulder to trick defender but only enough to trick not overly exaggerated movement like triple or quadruple drop of shoulder. What are you doing? You are trying to feign to trick to beat defender not to do some acrobatic freestyle football. Lamine Yamal is younger but watch how mature he play. No bullshit, and even he plays "simple" (look simple) football but deadly and impactful.

The players he will have around him at Anfield will elevate his performances. But he will also have to play against quicker and stronger opponents. He's a special talent, that's for sure. I think it was the correct decision sending him on loan.
