I just tried to air up my car tire and because of the way the nozzle is it won't air up because when you try to engage the locking mechanism there's not enough room to lock it.

Thank you for telling how the end of it works. I have limited mobility and used up my back trying to get the damn thing to work and since the clip is backwards. Now I have air in my tires.

UPDATE:: I used this for the 3rd time since owning to 'top-off' my tire before the cold comes and although it was fast and convenient with around 30 pumps for 5 psi. the nozzle is finicky and took several attempts to get it to 'seat' correctly. if you are looking for a work horse version you may want to spend more...

I have one I got it too work but now I have a flat and Now my bike won’t take air using the regular pump

I had helped a friend do his very first oil change for his 2021 HRV Sport and had difficulty unscrewing this specific square clips. I managed to unscrew one of them but impossible to unscrew the others. Like I would infinitely turn counter-clockwise but it wouldn't unscrew. It made a squeaking noise every time I turn the screw. It seems that the other screws are stripped. How did you manage to forcefully pry them off the splash shield? My friend will take it to an oil change shop to get his oil change but if they manage to unscrew those clips... can he use a different screw type/retainer clip to replace these weird original factory retainer clips?
