I don't know why it takes so long either, at most I only saw a couple of images of the updated karts in the fanon. But the surprise should be very big by the day when he publish the updates.
Sorry for the delay. I'm remaking a lot of things right now for the mod (karts, tracks, custom UI). As for the custom power ups you mentioned a while back, I don't think it's possible to add new ones, but it is possible to mod the current items as well as the gift boxes. That, I am I am currently working on.

How I do I input the mods into the game (I'm on pc)
I removed the tutorial vid a while ago because it was outdated. I am planning to do an updated video or I may just post the tutorial on the fanon article I made for the mod. You installed STK and the mods from gamebanana?

@@OfficialProHenry Okay. So in your files explorer, go to the Local Disk tab on the left side, and look for the Programs folder. Then look for the folder of the game, SuperTuxKart, and then look in a folder called 'data'. If you know how to move folders and files, you should be good from here. Characters go into the 'karts' folder and tracks go to 'tracks' folder. I should mention, I did make custom stats for each of the characters which is why there is an extra kart characteristics file with the Sugar Rush Racers folder. Delete the current kart characteristics in the 'data' folder. Then move the one from the Sugar Rush Racers folder into the data folder. This way, the karts have different speed/driving stats instead of being light karts by default.

Very nice stuff indeed. Glad to see these old and now unused tracks of Disney’s to be playable again! We’ve actually been developing our very own original and custom tracks for our sugar rush game, that comes with original music compositions. It’s still very much a work in progress but there’s quite a lot of potential. We are hoping for power ups to be released with the gamemode soon.
Will there be a movie roster race track in the works???

I was gonna do cannons, but after a few tests they were flying all over the place. I'll fix it at some point.

And talking about modify, floating chocolate mounts also stand out in the distance. This could easily be solved by extending the landscape or including the sea plane.
@@ofihombre Yeah the fast tracks were pretty cool. As for the mountains floating, I could probably fix that in a future update.

It sucks that there isnt ripps of the Disney Infinity Suagr Rush models, have those would be amazing for these tracks because there could be king candys castle or the diert cola mountain, the candy citizens, and the blimp, ect. I would imagine it would be hard to rip, especially since Disney Infinity is dead.
Only characters are ripped, or so I thought.

It's possible. I originally had the Sugar Rush win theme but I just went back to the old sound effects.

Yeah I know what you mean. I even used to have the Sugar Rush Championship theme for the GP win as well. As for the GP losing cutscene, Idk. Are you planning on using the slowed music from your SuperRaceway fangame?

THAT IS AWESOME!!! Thank you so much for giving us something that Disney won't, they killed off all of both of their Sugar Rush games, I think one is still playable via flashpoint but this is way better and very beautiful, I can't tell a lot of work is going into this

It looks awesome I hope one day the random roster race track will be playable, but it would be hard to model cause there isn't an existing model.

@@SugarRushSTK-et5mx I'm friends with a modeler, he isn't the best and doesn't understand UV's but has some good work, he could model things like the bridge under the track that's at the start or maybe even some of the citizens, I'm not sure if your looking for help but If you want I can ask if he can help you with your project

The only bug that needs to made aware of is this turn of the track 2:05. Like Crumbelina, if you fall off the track in that particular section, it will take you a while to respawn due to the "actual" driveline being placed slightly below the road on some parts.

I was working on the third track but the main problem was vertex colors. Basically most of the track looks black and I'm trying to fix it. As for the 5 racers, I updated Vanellope's car model to the one from the game, but never saw the need for the others besides wanting to give Vanellope a decent car model.
Update: Track has been rescaled so it does not feel too short or too difficult to drive on when racing on higher difficulties. Sweet Ride music files are also included so you don't need to download track one for them. Mod link: gamebanana.com/mods/518652
These mods are doing sugar rush so much justice the speeding looks much more movie accurate than most games I've played.
12 years had to go through to see something like that.
