A word of caution about thinning acrylic paint with water. A better choice is either matt or gloss medium. Acrylic paint does not hold up well when thinned with a lot of water.

where did you get the acrylic stand from ? I am trying to find some soap stands that are ova; shaped with little spikes to use as rock rests when i'm painting , as at the moment i'm usung tin jar lids . Those soap stands sre so hard to get , unless I want to pay $9 each for them on amazon ( which i'm not LOL ) as they are a junk shop item. But your acrylic stand idea would ork the same as my idea with the sopa stand.

There is a phenomenon called "Follow along with Bob Ross" that I have enjoyed watching; but tonight I followed along with Sage Mobarak and I had fun. Not as good as you but I know that the grandkids are gonna love it.
