To my own perspective this is mainly a black race issue, any Black Country you visit you’ll experience people act like that. Obviously in Sierra Leone right now you hear more complaints because many people are just recovering from our past conflicts, many are trying but many just sit and complain. My dear brother, the mindset of Sierra Leoneans, especially the youths, needs to change before the country will be more developed. The government cannot do everything for you, you must have an entrepreneurial spirit and initiative, using wisdom, to venture out into the unknown, in order to do large scale farming. If the ambitious youths of Sierra Leone, can take my brother's message here, and run with it,then they are assured of success. Again, it may not be easy, but with persistence and perseverance, it can be done.

My brother, you are right, but it seems to me that the youths are more attracted to the bright lights and the allure of an overcrowded capital city, Freetown, when they can go back to the provinces, and take advantage of the arable land out there, become farmers, take charge of their destiny and become employers and real millionaires.

Good talk bro. I have stop giving my self head ache, due to the mentality of my country men. Sierra leone is one of the land that is bless with everything you can think of in this world. Recently the government believe we have up to 44 billion brael oil in our country. The amount of new minerals discovered in the last 36 months is enough to transform our economy. With all this blessing of wealth, no government will give you free money for nothing, citizens have to learn trade, in return they will enjoy the benefits country have. I know many foreigners in sierra leone if u ask then to come and live in America they will say no, because sierra leone is their America. We also have sierra leoneans who will never support or talk good of the country, because the party that is in power not from their home town or region. This are the people who believe in tribalism, selfishness, nepotism. Sierra leone economy has show signs of improvement, inflation has come down 18% in the last 12 months, the currency is stable for the past one year. Many investors are comming back to invest. The US government is building huge power plant to give 24 hours of electricity. And 480 million dollars to expand the electricity supply throughout the country. The president secure over 0ne billion dollar investment in agriculture and energy expansion from the Arab banks for development three weeks a go. And industrial centre to house more than fifty companies is been develop in the North West of the country. New micro city been build around the peninsula, morden hospitals been build in the city and around the country as we speak. Please go to lumley see for your self the new children hospital, and the 34 military hospital , the center of excellence been build for every sierra leonean to have world class medical care, mobile medical buses that travel around the country giving free medical care. With all this and more can any one call this country worthless?

It is my observation that Africans tend to be nagative toward those who look like them and to trust those who dont. With that kind of mindset, the country, leaders, and government will always be the worst in the eyes of the people. In my opinion, that is why others can so easily manipulate us into destabilizing the African countries.
